Norwich go into Wednesday's match at the Britannia Stadium six points clear of the drop zone - but they were dumped out of the FA Cup by Manchester City on Saturday.

"The league is the most important thing for us. I made the right decision in making changes against City," Neil adds.

"These next two games are important to us. Everyone is fighting tooth and nail to stay in the Premier League."

    Norwich City

Norwich manager Alex Neil is speaking to the media this morning. Before any team news ahead of Wednesday's Premier League away trip to Stoke there's a word on striker Lewis Grabban's move back to Bournemouth for £7m.

Will that money be invested in new players this month?

"Lewis Grabban wasn't involved and he'd set his heart on making a move. It makes sense, it will give us more money to play with," Neil says.

Eastleigh's Jai Reason was thrilled to see his side potentially drawn at home against another Championship side in the FA Cup fourth round.

The National League club, the lowest-ranked side left in the hat, will face Leeds United if they can beat Bolton in a replay.

The sides drew 1-1 in the first game on Saturday.

"If we do get past Bolton, I don't think Leeds will like playing football on our pitch," the midfielder told BBC South Today.

"They're one of the biggest clubs in the country, a former Champions League qualifier. But, our main is obviously to get past Bolton first."

Eastleigh, the only non-league team left in the FA Cup, will face Leeds in the fourth round if they win a replay against Championship side Bolton.

Holders Arsenal will host Burnley of the Championship, while Manchester United visit second-tier Derby County.

Manchester City have a trip to Wycombe or Aston Villa, while Crystal Palace entertain Stoke in the only confirmed all-Premier League tie.

Oxford United, who beat Swansea, will take on either Newport or Blackburn.

Liverpool have made an approach to QPR to take defender Steven Caulker on loan until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Southampton but that would be cancelled if a deal can be agreed to take him to Anfield for the rest of the campaign.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is currently struggling with a central defensive crisis after injuries to Martin Skrtel, Dejan Lovren and Mamadou Sakho.

Jared Rigby: How can Van Gaal complain that United have bored him? Surely what they do on the pitch is a reflection of his management.

Jack: Are we sure about 4 Real Madrid players in World Team of the Year? Complete La Liga bias as always, Sanchez should be in at least.

Steve Howes: Top 11 players are good but all play in non competitive leagues, it's normal they will shine. Ronaldo's ego must be distraught.

Harry Partridge: Ballon d'Or & TOTY are pointless. Nobody watches enough football to have the necessary knowledge to make accurate selections.

Paul Scholes is one of several ex-United players to criticise United's style of play and attitude.

The 11-time Premier League winner says the players and manager looked "bored" and claims there is "no spirit".

"There's nobody having a go at each other, there's no smiling, there's no entertainment," said the midfielder.

"Even Van Gaal looks bored, but he'll come out and say he's happy."

Over to Old Trafford where Louis van Gaal has hit the headlines big-time for saying even he has been "very bored" during some games this season.

"There are matches that I have enjoyed," said the Dutchman. "And there are also matches where I'm very bored or angry because we are not disorganising our opponent's defence, but that is football."

One United fan was filmed falling asleep during the FA Cup win over Sheffield United at the weekend, with thousands of home supporters leaving early.

Asked why, Van Gaal replied: "They are not thinking that we would score, I think, and maybe also because of the traffic."

Gayle under fire againpublished at 08:54

    Cricket

West Indies star Chris Gayle is under fire again, days after a storm over his sexist comments to a female television presenter.

Gayle was criticised by commentators for refusing to take an easy single for his Melbourne Renegades team against Sydney Thunder in Australia's Big Bash League.

Gayle turned back fellow opening batsman Tom Cooper, who was keen to take a run. "This is the most unbelievable, ridiculous cricket I've ever seen," said former Australian Test skipper Ricky Ponting.

Gayle was dismissed next ball and declined to be interviewed about the incident after the match.

Normally batsmen only refuse an easy single if they are attempting to keep the strike and protect a lesser batsman.

The above is the world team of the year and, embarrassingly, the Premier League (you know, the one they bang on about as being the best in the world) was the only one of Europe's top five leagues not to have anyone in the team.

Real Madrid had as many players as Barcelona - four - despite not winning a trophy.

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was the Bundesliga's only representative, while Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba and Paris St-Germain's Thiago Silva represented Serie A and Ligue 1 respectively.

Given Barca won five of the six trophies on offer in 2015, including the Champions League, La Liga and the Copa del Rey, then maybe that wasn't too much of a surprise either,

He beat Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola, who was second, and Chile's Copa America-winning coach Jorge Sampaoli to the award.
