  1. Goodbye

And on that note, we end another edition of Sportsday. We'll be back on Monday at 08:00 GMT but stay across the BBC Sport website at the weekend for coverage of Premier League football, Test cricket and Masters snooker.

    Until then.

  2. From Olympic finalist to Las Vegas escort

    Suzy Favor Hamilton

After Suzy Favor Hamilton competed at the Sydney Olympics, it came out that she'd been working as a high-class escort. Yes, you read that correctly.

Speaking to Sportshour, she explains how mental illness drove her to become a Las Vegas call girl.

Hear more about her remarkable tale here.

  3. 'Liverpool have nothing to fear'

    Football

    Danny Murphy

    MOTD pundit and ex-Liverpool midfielder

    Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool are running out of games to mount a serious bid for a place in the top four, but Sunday's game against Manchester United would be the perfect time to start the run they need.

If Jurgen Klopp's side lose at Anfield, it leaves them with a mountain to climb to earn a Champions League spot.

But if the Reds win it will be fascinating to see what a draw against leaders Arsenal then beating United in the space of four days does for their momentum and confidence.

  4. F1 to discuss refuelling

    Formula 1

    Andrew Benson

    Chief F1 writer

    Refuelling

Formula 1 chiefs are to again discuss the potential return of refuelling.

The idea was proposed then dismissed last year, but could be introduced as early as 2017 if it receives support in Monday's F1 strategy group meeting.

Key figures in F1 are keen to find ways of making the sport more exciting.

The strategy group - made up of F1 commercial boss Bernie Ecclestone, FIA president Jean Todt and the six leading teams - will also discuss rule changes for engines and chassis.

Refuelling was banned at the end of 2009 on cost and safety grounds.

  5. Premier League injury table

    #bbcsportsday

Bournemouth may be outside the relegation zone but they're in the bottom three in our Premier League injury table.

On the plus side, the Cherries have suffered fewer than half the number of injuries experienced by Manchester City with 23 compared to a league-high 47.

Yet the severity of them (cruciate knee ligament injuries for Tyrone Mings, Max Gradel and Callum Wilson) mean their players have missed 175 days more than those in Manuel Pellegrini's squad.

Without those key casualties, could Bournemouth be higher up the table? Will their recent signings plug the gap and stave off relegation?

How detrimental is European football for the health of your squad?

Well according to our Premier League injury table it can be a poisoned chalice.

The six best-performing teams in injury terms - Watford, Leicester, West Brom, Swansea, Norwich and Southampton - are clubs without European commitments.

It certainly seems to be helping Watford and Leicester in the actual table as well this year.

So is European football worth it to your team if it increases their injury woes? Let us know on #bbcsportsday.

The 26-year-old had spent the bulk of his career with Marseille, where he made 160 appearances before leaving the south of France last summer.

    Football

    Creed

BBC Sport's football expert Mark Lawrenson is pitting his wits against a different guest each week this season.

Lawro's opponent for the latest round of Premier League fixtures are Creed stars Michael B Jordan & Tony Bellew.

Everton fan and professional boxer Bellew plays 'Pretty' Ricky Conlan in the film, which sees Sylvester Stallone reprise his role as the former world heavyweight champion Rocky Balboa.

Balboa is trainer and mentor to Adonis Johnson - played by Jordan - the son of his former rival Apollo Creed.

  13. Premier League injury table

    #bbcsportsday

Watford are top and Newcastle are bottom.

Well, not in the actual table but that's the state of play in the Premier League injury table that we've put together and you can take a look at here.

Newcastle's players have missed a remarkable 1042 days through injury this season but Liverpool don't fare much better in second bottom with 965 days missed.

Does that justify Jurgen Klopp highlighting his side's injury troubles or is it a result of his style? Will it mean moves for the Reds in the transfer window?

  14. O's president handed ban & £40k fine

    Football

    Francesco Becchetti

Leyton Orient president Francesco Becchetti has been given a six-match stadium ban and fined £40,000 by the Football Association.

An independent regulatory commission decided the 49-year-old was guilty of a charge of violent contact on Friday.

He was charged after television pictures appeared to show him kicking O's assistant Andy Hessenthaler after the win over Portsmouth on 26 December.

Becchetti, who requested a personal hearing, can appeal the decision.

The Italian, who bought the O's in summer 2014, had accepted his actions were improper but strongly denied it was violent conduct.

"We have all to fight against doping," he said. "You and I celebrated super-champions who were maybe only cheats.

"In football, I think we have ignored doping for a long time. We have neglected it. Now, I think Uefa and Fifa will tackle it seriously."

  20. Watford 'need first-team players'

Swansea City v Watford (Mon, 20:00 GMT)

    Geoff Doyle

    BBC Three Counties Radio sport

    Watford

Matches appear to be catching up with Watford and their tight ‘first-team’ squad as they prepare for the trip to Swansea.

Five games in 19 days has resulted in the Hornets picking up just one point in their four Premier League games. Before that where Watford were playing Saturday to Saturday, getting plenty of rest and coach Quique Sanchez Flores was able to do what he does best and work through the week on the training ground, his side won four on the spin.

The Premier League manager of the month for December does not have strength in depth. He really only has a hard core of 14 players he trusts to can call upon so "first team" players are required in January.
