Crystal Palace news conferencepublished at 13:02

Man City v Crystal Palace (Sat, 15:00 GMT)

Manchester City are currently three points off the top, while Crystal Palace's poor run has seen them drop to eighth in the table.

How does manager Alan Pardew see this match going?

"City are a team that you have to demand 100% concentration," he said. They have that quality. We expect David Silva and Sergio Aguero to play.

"You get [runs like this] during a season in the Premier League. It's about keeping that balance. Players coming back will give us confidence."

Roberto Martinez was always going to play straight over Sam Byram. Leeds have had a bid accepted from Everton, although the manager was reluctant to go into detail, other than to say the club have made an "initial approach".

Radio Merseyside understands the player is keen to come and Leeds want to push the sale through to avoid a tribunal come the end of the season.

Martinez was cagey over the future of Steven Naismith. If the Scot ends up staying at Goodison then he could be key to the second half of the season. It appears Naismith holds the cards to his future and Norwich, as opposed to Swansea, look to be the club in pole position after their enquiry in the summer.
