Roger Federer has responded to the claims of match-fixing in tennis by saying that if it is going on, he wants to know who's doing it.

"I would love to hear names," Federer said, after beating first-round opponent Nikoloz Basilashvili at the Australian Open.

"Then at least it's concrete stuff and you can actually debate about it. Was it the player? Was it the support team? Who was it? Was it before? Was it a doubles player, a singles player? Which Slam?'

"It's super serious and it's super important to maintain the integrity of our sport. So how high up does it go? The higher it goes, the more surprised I would be.''

Swansea announced on 7 January that Alan Curtis would continue as the club's interim manager until the end of the season.

Chairman Huw Jenkins has clarified how the appointment of Udinese manager Francesco Guidolin will work.

“We believe we have found that person in Francesco. He has an excellent record, especially with Udinese over the last few years. He created an Udinese side from a relatively small budget - compared to the rest of the league - that competed with the big teams in Serie A.

“He instilled a belief and motivation to compete and beat the best Italy had to offer. It is similar to what this football club is trying to do in the Premier League."
