The 24-year-old has scored 12 tries in 25 appearances for the Exiles in the Championship this term.

Vautour will run in Thursday's Ryanair Chase at the Cheltenham Festival rather than waiting for Friday's Timico Gold Cup.

Owner Rich Ricci has confirmed the seven-year-old will line up in the extended two-and-a-half-mile event after failing to impress in his recent work.

Ricci told Channel 4's The Morning Line: "We've said in recent weeks that he hasn't been pulling up trees in his work, but he's been working better lately.

"I know we talked about whether he would go for the Gold Cup, that's been our intention all year, but it's a very a difficult race and if he's only 90 per cent right, then we don't want to ruin the horse."

Not too long to go until tonight's big Champions League action and good news for Manchester City, with midfielder Yaya Toure recovered from injury and fit to play in the last-16 second leg against Dynamo Kiev.

Toure, 32, missed Saturday's 0-0 draw against Norwich in the Premier League because of a heel injury.

"He has no problems," said City manager Manuel Pellegrini, who will attempt to guide City into the quarter-finals for the first time in their history.

City, who enjoy a 3-1 first-leg lead, are favourites to progress.

There will be live text coverage on the BBC Sport website later.

Judy Murray has stepped down as Great Britain's Fed Cup captain after five years in the role.

She has decided the promotion play-off defeat by Belgium in Israel in February was her last in charge.

The Scot, 56, has spoken about spending more time as a grandmother after son Andy became a father in February.

There is no obvious replacement, though former British number one Anne Keothavong, who played 39 Fed Cup ties, would be a strong candidate.

"Close followers of Andy Murray's desert fortunes have seen similar performances in the past, but, from 4-1 up in the deciding set, the world number two knows he should have comfortably sewn things up.

The drop shot, with which Murray has thrilled and frustrated in equal measure over the years, was overused in the closing stages - a sign of Murray's lack of confidence from the back of the court in these unique conditions.

The ball flies through the desert air and can bounce up quite high - different conditions to Miami, where Murray will be heading for his next challenge."

Bad news for Andy Murray overnight, the Scot making an early exit from the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells with a surprise loss to Argentine world number 53 Federico Delbonis.

The British number one, playing his first ATP tournament since becoming a father last month (though he has played in a Davis Cup tie), was beaten 6-4 4-6 7-6 (7-3) in the third round.

The Scot, 28, was well short of his best, squandering a 4-1 third-set lead before losing the decisive tie-break.

"I just struggle in these conditions. I don't know why it is, said a frustrated Murray, referring to the windy weather. "It's a slight mentality thing, but I seem to do it here every single year."

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane says he's loving his duel with Leicester City forward and England team mate Jamie Vardy for the Premier League golden boot.

Kane, who finished runner-up in the scoring charts last season with 21, netted twice in Sunday's 2-0 win over Aston Villa to take his tally to 19 goals, level with top scorer Vardy and just ahead of Everton's Romelu Lukaku (18).

"It's good fun. It's good competition, to be up there and fighting for the golden boot," the 22-year-old said.

"I'm sure Jamie was watching our game and he'll want to go and score a couple. It's good competition - it's what keeps you alive."
