Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane says he's loving his duel with Leicester City forward and England team mate Jamie Vardy for the Premier League golden boot.

Kane, who finished runner-up in the scoring charts last season with 21, netted twice in Sunday's 2-0 win over Aston Villa to take his tally to 19 goals, level with top scorer Vardy and just ahead of Everton's Romelu Lukaku (18).

"It's good fun. It's good competition, to be up there and fighting for the golden boot," the 22-year-old said.

"I'm sure Jamie was watching our game and he'll want to go and score a couple. It's good competition - it's what keeps you alive."

TV watchdog Ofcom has confirmed it had one complaint about Joe Marler’s ‘Gypsy boy’ comment during the England v Wales game on Saturday.

Ofcom say the complaint is currently under assessment and they aim to make a decision on whether to investigate or not within 15 working days.

England prop Joe Marler - who has already been cited for allegedly striking an opponent during the Six Nations encounter - calling Wales prop Samson Lee "Gypsy boy" during the same match, apologising to Lee for his comments at half-time.

    Conte to Chelsea?

    ChelseaImage source, Getty Images

Chelsea sacked Jose Mourinho as their manager in December 2015 and appointed Guus Hiddink on an interim basis until the end of the season.

The Blues have improved from 16th to 10th in the league under Hiddink but have been knocked out of the Champions League and FA Cup.

They face missing out on Champions League football for next season unless they can make up an 11-point gap in nine games and secure a top four top-flight spot.

"Chelsea are in a transitional period and have to see how to go on to try to regain the lost terrain to where they used to be," said Hiddink recently.

Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez: "I wasn't happy with the goal because there were too many balls bouncing in the box. I would like to think about the positives. We reacted well and were pushing well.

"I thought that we could get a result and I was convinced we could do it. But they worked really hard and are pushing and their tempo is not easy for any team.

"We know our next game against Sunderland is a derby and it will be important for everyone but I have a feeling the fans are really good and they are the number 12 for the next game. We have plenty of things to do and they need to rest and work hard."
