    Inter Milan are determined to sign Yaya Toure from Manchester City this summer, according to reports in Italy., external

    The 32-year-old Ivorian has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season as new manager Pep Guardiola, external looks to build his squad.

    The midfielder already has lucrative offers from China and the Middle East, while MLS teams are also interested.

    The Italian club are ready to offer the 32-year-old a two-year contract, with the option of a further year if both parties wish to extend his stay.

    Inter boss Roberto Mancini, external worked with Toure during his time at Manchester City and is keen to link up with him again.

    More on the news that Sunderland intend to cancel the contract of full-back Emmanuel Eboue.

    The 32-year-old signed a permanent deal with the Black Cats on 9 March until the end of the season.

    However, Fifa announced on Thursday that the player has been handed a one-year ban from football after failing to pay money owed to a former agent.

    "This was not something that the club was made aware of by the player," Sunderland said in a statement., external

    "The club has therefore given notice of its intention to terminate the contract. The player has two weeks in which to appeal this decision."

    Southampton have denied reports, external that they are interested in Celtic defender Kieran Tierney.

    The 18-year-old left-back, who made his Scotland debut against Denmark on Tuesday, has been mooted as potential back-up for England international Ryan Bertrand. 

    However, the Premier League club already have England under-21 regular Matt Targett filling that role so will not be making a move for the Scottish teenager.

    "Every time a coach doesn't finish the project it is bad news," Flores told Sky Sports. "I'm completely happy at Watford.

    "I love the fans of Watford and I'm really happy with the people and every person that is working here. We're a family and I'm happy enough."

    Despite his players not being fully fit for the Crystal Palace game, West Ham manager Slaven Bilic welcomes the international recognition his players receive.

    More on the news that Sunderland full-back Emmanuel Eboue has been handed a one-year ban by Fifa.

    The suspension relates to an outstanding payment to a former agent and the ban will stay in place until he pays the amount.

    Eboue, 32, was initially fined by a judge for not settling the fee and had 120 days to pay the debt - which he missed - and has now been given a year's ban.

    Former Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene has signed for Somerset.

    The 38-year-old, who scored more than 12,000 runs in one-day internationals, will feature in 12 of the county's 14 T20 Blast group games this summer.

    It means Somerset boast the World Twenty20's top two all-time run scorers in Jayawardene and Chris Gayle.

    "When a player of his experience and class becomes available, you have to snap them up," said the club's director of cricket Matt Maynard.
