'Conte at Chelsea does not make sense'published at 08:10

    Football

    BBC Radio 5 Live

How do you feel about Antonio Conte as manager then Chelsea fans? One of your former players isn't too impressed - Chris Sutton reckons the appointment "does not make any sense", in fact.

He thinks the Italy boss is too similar to Jose Mourinho, who was sacked in December amid suggestions he had fallen out with several senior players.

"If the players have downed tools before there is every suggestion that, with Conte being a similar type to Mourinho, they will down tools again," Sutton told BBC Radio 5 live.

There's a very heavy Chelsea feel about this morning's back pages, no?

In the Daily Star, there's a story about Conte wanting to bring former Blues striker Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge, from Everton.

The paper also carries the brilliant news about boxer Nick Blackwell waking from his induced coma - more on that later.
