    Former All Black captain Richie McCaw, who retired from the sport in the wake of the team's victory in the 2015 World Cup, has become the youngest person become a Member of the Order of New Zealand.

    The title - limited to 20 living people - is higher than a knighthood.

    One hundred and sixty-four Premier League first-team squad members were not tested for drugs last season the Times reports., external

    "The FA insists it has one of the strongest anti-doping programmes in sport, and that it targets those players who appear most often - it is understood that some have been tested up to six times a season," the paper adds.

    The figures come after a private London-based doctor was filmed claiming that he had provided performance-enhancing drugs to top-flight players. Leicester, Arsenal and Chelsea - the clubs that Dr Bonar mentioned - have denied that any of their players have been treated by him.

    The Independent's Ian Herbert has taken a look at how the sex discrimination, case which Leeds United employee Lucy Ward recently won, has revealed the shocking decay at the heart of the club. 

    Ms Ward, who worked as Leeds' education and welfare officer, travelled to Canada to work as a BBC pundit at the 2015 Women's World Cup.  

    The club, which denied any wrongdoing, claimed she was sacked for exceeding her annual leave entitlement.

    Bath have announced the retirement, external of captain Stuart Hooper.

    The 34-year-old lock has quit the game with immediate effect on medical advice after suffering a back injury earlier this season. 

    Former England Saxons skipper Hooper made 192 appearances for Bath after joining them from Leeds Carnegie in 2008. His top-flight career began at Saracens.

    Joe Johnson had a nasty shock when he dug out his 1986 world championship win from the back of the video cupboard for a re-run of his greatest triumph.

    "It was years after I’d won, a long time had passed, and I’d never thought to watch it back but her and her boyfriend wanted to see it so I said I’d find the tape," he told the Daily Mail., external

    "The tape goes in and we are all sat around. We could watch the last couple of frames and the presentation, do it as a family, you know? Quite nice.

    "Then on it comes, He-Man: Masters of the Universe. Where’s my snooker? Wind on, it’s still not there. It’s gone.

    "One of the boys had taped over the whole thing. Thanks, boys."

    The draw for the first round of this year's tournament takes place at 10:00 BST.
