Paris St-Germain are making it look like Zlatan Ibrahimovic has died...

Another man on the move is Zlatan Ibrahimovic as Paris Saint-Germain confirm the departure of the 34-year-old striker.

The club's statement, external reads: "The club and its player have decided mutually not to renew the contract that links both parties until 30 June 2016. They agreed as well that once the player ends his active football career he would be back in the club in a managerial capacity.  

"Paris Saint-Germain is forever deeply grateful to Zlatan for his amazing four years that made him the greatest striker and one of the very best player in the club's history."

David Airey: The only fans not surprised by Flores going are Watford fans. They're the ones that have seen the side go backwards in 2016.

Nigel Moore: So you achieve your target for the season and get the sack. Could only happen in modern day football.

Asked about a move to Leeds, who finished 13th in the Championship, Quique Sanchez Flores says: "I don't rule out anything. I would be happy to stay in England. We will see."

Sam Poulter: You aren't going to keep a manager that got 13th & an FA cup semi final after promotion? New low for manager's job expectancy. If Flores goes despite what he's achieved & Wenger is staying despite massive underachievement, then football has gone mad.

Tom Geoffrey: Flabbergasted by the news that Flores is leaving Watford. Their fans deserve better, after what's been a very decent season.

Dec: So will  Watford bring someone random in, we'll all criticise them, and they'll win the title next season.

Quique Sanchez Flores is speaking in his news conference right now. "I've enjoyed it a lot at Watford," he says. "I thank the fans. It's been amazing. I achieved the target but it's football. 

"I understand the board's decision. The club and me don't have the same point of view about the season. We have different conditions.  

"The only thing I can say is thank you to the fans."

Watford have just released this statement on the departure of manager Quique Sanchez Flores...

"We would like to thank Quique. He and the team achieved the target set them at the start of the season of staying in the Premier League for a second year. Quique leaves with all our best wishes for the future and the knowledge he is always welcome at Vicarage Road."

Is it me or has this man not done a very decent job? As 13th-placed FA Cup semi-finalists Watford confirm Quique Sanchez Flores will leave after the end of the season . 

After Wednesday's 4-2 defeat by Norwich, manager Quique Sanchez Flores said he has enjoyed his time in the Premier League, but will take time to reflect on his future at Vicarage Road.

The Spaniard, 51, was appointed in June of last year following the club's promotion from the Championship.  

Former Benfica boss Flores joined Watford in June 2015 and has presided over 43 matches, winning 16, drawing eight and losing 19.

The Hornets, who host Sunderland on the final day of the season, are 13th in the Premier League.

Quique Sanchez Flores will leave the club after Sunday's final Premier League match of the season against Sunderland. Despite retaining their top flight status a few weeks ago and reaching the FA Cup semi-final, it's not been considered good enough by the club's hierarchy. 

Already there are reports that former Inter, Napoli and Sampdoria manager Walter Mazzarri has been sounded out for the Vicarage Road job. 

Arsenal midfielders Tomas Rosicky, Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta are expected to leave the club this summer and Arsene Wenger appeared to confirm it by commenting: "We will lose three big personalities."

Arsenal are two points behind rivals Spurs, who go to Newcastle on the final day and Arsene Wenger says: "We want to finish as high as possible and if possible in front of Spurs of course. We want second so we will fight until the end."

On an unusual campaign, he adds: "It is a missed opportunity for everyone who was supposed to be up there. Other people can feel a missed opportunity."
