Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill is speaking to the media before their final group game against Germany on Tuesday.

He said: "I don't think the permutations are really important to us. We can't think about any other teams and just have to focus on ourselves.

Tabrez Abdullah: Dream of food, order a pizza all to myself, then remember that I'm fasting and can't eat anything till after the game.

Richard Carpenter: Time to find a bar in Cluj, Romania for the big match! Hope the Romanians aren't too sad and can cope with bubbly Brits!

We've already heard from Germany's Mats Hummels but here's more from their assistant manager Thomas Schneider, who will deputise for Joachim Loew because of the manager's sore throat.

Schneider said his side are determined to beat Northern Ireland at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday.

When it was mentioned that Northern Ireland's Conor Washington was working as a postman during the Euro 2012 tournament, Schneider said: "It is not important what they were doing four years ago; we respect them nowadays.

"They had a good qualifying campaign, ending their group as winners and have beaten Ukraine, so we know what we will face and we respect them."

Germany coach Joachim Loew was not at Monday’s media conference in Paris for the match against Northern Ireland on Tuesday – but he was not forgotten.

Asked what Loew’s reaction to Germany's 0-0 draw against Poland had been, Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels said: "He was relaxed, not as loud as Jurgen Klopp would have been. I have never seen anybody as loud as Mr Klopp before."

    Chris ColemanImage source, Reuters

Wales boss Chris Coleman says Euro 2016 is "not the end of the journey" for his squad as they prepare to face Russia for a place in the last 16.

Victory in Toulouse on Monday would secure Wales' spot in the knockout phase, in their first major international tournament since 1958.

"This team has got the potential to go on and on. They've got everything to look forward to," said Coleman. "We are in a fantastic position. Nevertheless, there's more to come.

"This group, this team, they can't lose because whenever we go home, whenever that time is, we have gained so much experience."

Morgan seeks to continue one-day progresspublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 20 June 2016

    Cricket

One final flurry of quotes from England ODI captain Eoin Morgan about his side's chances against Sri Lanka in the five-match series, which starts on Tuesday

On Sri Lanka: They have found it tough work since they came here, but ODI cricket comes more naturally to them. There are ranked above us, so we won't take them for granted and we are looking to ourselves to build and put performances in."

On England's past year: We're still at the very beginning of building what we hope will be a successful World Cup campaign in 2019. The 12 months we've had has been a great start, the immediate success we've had is something we need to build-on.

"Confidence is a big thing, and it's crucial to build on that confidence we've had going forward."

Rain may be preventing England women from starting their one-day series against Pakistan, but there is play in the County Championship today.

In Division One, leaders Lancashire are 49-3 against Warwickshire on day one at Old Trafford, while defending champions Yorkshire have reduced Durham to 135-7 at Chester-le-Street. Surrey - currently 299-8 - have been stalled by rain against Nottinghamshire, with a pitch inspection scheduled for 15:30 BST.

In the only Division Two under way, Glamorgan are 150-6 against Kent at Cardiff, with day two of Essex's match with Leicestershire washed out and the opening day of Derbyshire-Worcestershire suffering the same fate.
