As well as the headline appearances, Soccerex plays host to some interesting discussion forums.

Like the 'Stadia of Tomorrow' debate.

Borja Gonzalez the stadium business manager for Athletic Bilbao said the club's new San Mames stadium has nine Michelin chefs.

More controversially Ruben Reddy owner of Architects, who helped with the design for the Sochi Olympics, explained why he thinks clubs, even in the Premier League, should groundshare.

"It makes sense economically and from a sustainability standpoint."

He didn't say anything about emotionally.

Sacked and sacked againpublished at 14:52

    Football

    Bruno LabbadiaImage source, Reuters

To be sacked once from a job is unfortunate. For it to happen again, well, that's just cruel.

That's the fate of Bruno Labbadia (above) who has been dismissed by Hamburg after a poor start to the Bundesliga season.

He was previously sacked by the club in 2010 and reappointed in April 2015.

Labbadia joins a select group to be sacked by the same club twice and we've picked out a few of the most notable:

Jose Mourinho: Sacked by Chelsea in 2007 and 2015

John Toshack: Sacked by Real Madrid in 1990 and 1999

Fabio Capello: Sacked by Real Madrid in 1997 (after winning La Liga) and 2007 (after winning La Liga)

Udo Lattek: Sacked by Bayern Munich in 1975 (when they were European champions) and 1987 (when they'd reached the European Cup final)

Zdenek Zeman: Sacked by Roma in 1999 and 2013

Billy Davies: Sacked by Nottingham Forest in 2011 and 2014

They say never go back. Maybe this proves it.

As you'd expect Claudio Ranieri was cool, calm and collected when fielding questions from every corner of the globe.

He said these home games in the Champions League are special and an opportunity for the fans to remember last season's success and enjoy the experience. He warned that Porto will look to play possession football.

Marc Albrighton said the experienced players in the squad are vital for huge games like this and the team draw on their experience.

There's always colour with Claudio; as the Portuguese interpreter repeated one of the answers for the reporters in the room from English he got the name of the team wrong in the original answer; multi-lingual Ranieri corrected him, cue much laughter. Classy Claudio shines once again.
