"You give us NKoudou and you can have Clinton Njie. Deal?"

Deal. Daniel Levy's poker face has worked a treat again.

Spurs have signed Marseille's NKoudou, with Clinton Njie - who struggled to make an impact in his debut season -  joining Ligue 1 side Marseille on loan until the end of the season.

  5. Wilshere to Bournemouth? I just do not get itpublished at 18:21 British Summer Time 31 August 2016

    Chris Sutton
Ex-Norwich striker speaks to BBC Sport

With the Jack Wilshere deal, he is still good enough to have a place in the Arsenal team. He is going to Bournemouth to get games. It does not send out a particularly good message.

I am disappointed, Wilshere should not be going to the likes of Bournemouth. That is a strange one.

It is absolutely crazy, a fit Wilshere would command a place in the Gunners team. If they are serious about winning trophies then he would be a key man.

Bournemouth is a big step down, I just do not get this loan deal at all.

  7. Iturbe on the move?published at 18:21 British Summer Time 31 August 2016

    John Bennett
    BBC World Service

Bournemouth fans… Remember Juan Iturbe? To say his loan move to the south-coast last season didn’t really work out is an understatement as he only made two substitute appearances in the Premier League.

Iturbe could be on the move before the deadline. The Italian and French press are talking about a loan deal from Roma to Lyon.

The 23 year-old could face an anxious wait though because Lyon are said to be chasing several targets.

  8. DONE DEAL - Spurs sign Marseille midfielderpublished at 18:19 British Summer Time 31 August 2016

Georges-Kevin NKoudou kind of gave the game away when he tweeted, external this last night. Oh, and by when he was spotted eating porridge in north London.

Now Spurs have confirmed the arrival of the 21-year-old Marseille midfielder. He has signed a five-year deal at Spurs.

  10. Three-year loan deal for Cuadradopublished at 18:15

    Chelsea

Earlier we told you Italian champions Juventus had agreed to take Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado. Here's a bit more meat on the bones.

It is a loan move. A THREE-YEAR loan move.

Juve will pay 5m euros a year for the Colombian, but have the right to buy him permanently for 25m euros at any time.

  11. Luiz sighted in St Pancraspublished at 18:12

    Chelsea

The Sun's Dream Team department have tracked down David Luiz to St Pancras station where is fresh off the Eurostar from Paris and presumably on his way to Chelsea's Cobham base.

The Sun's man on the scene, asked the Brazilian if he was Blues bound.

    "I can't speak," he replied.

But he was happily posing for selfies with fans and said it was "good" to be back in London.

And here's some more evidence of David Luiz's return to Stamford Bridge. Even his famously fuzzy hair hiding under a snap-back cap didn't throw this eagle-eyed Chelsea fan off the scent...

Shaun Thacker: Sign for 21 mil, sell for 50 mil, resign for 32 mil. So effectively Chelsea have bought Luiz for 3 mil! Pretty good business.

That's one way to look at it.

  14. David Luiz to return?published at 18:11 British Summer Time 31 August 2016

    Chelsea

David Luiz's return to Chelsea is looking more and more likely.

Our colleagues in BBC Brasil report that a key factor has been Luiz losing his place in the PSG team to Brazil team-mate Marquinhos, and Marquinhos' own staying at PSG was dependent on him having more starts.

  16. Sunderland say Nai to Scotland forward?published at 18:05 British Summer Time 31 August 2016

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport

One deal that doesn’t look like it is going to happen is Steven Naismith to Sunderland.

The Scotland forward had attracted interest from Hull earlier in the month.

But that fell through, leaving Sunderland as the most viable option for the Norwich man.

However, the transfer trail is going cold so there is unlikely to be any mad dash south from Naismith’s national duties.
