    Never mind languishing on the bench, Liverpool's Mamadou Sakho is going to be stuck in the Anfield stands for the rest of the season, according to the Daily Mirror, external after he turned down moves to West Brom, Stoke and Besiktas.

    They report that Reds boss Jurgen Kloop is "deeply frustrated" by the defender's refusal to move on and prove himself elsewhere after a series of indiscretions. He is now sixth-choice centre-back behind Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip, Ragnar Klavan, Joe Gomez and Lucas Leiva.

    Liverpool and Nice are currently completing the paperwork on Mario Balotelli's move away from Anfield.

    It is a permanent move on a free transfer for the 26-year-old who signed for Liverpool from AC Milan in a £16m deal in August 2014 but scored only four goals in 28 appearances.
