More from Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, after being asked repeatedly about Steven Gerrard: “You all are obviously not satisfied with the question of the person next to you so you try again.
“Steven Gerrard, 186 goals, each goal is a story.
“The first thing you should all maybe learn is that if someone wants to help Steven Gerrard then stop being so excited about each step he is next doing.
“For everything in life you need space to learn something new. There’s nothing to talk about.
“I’m the wrong person to tell you anything about it.
“The door is always open for him. From our side, if he wants to make whatever career then we want to help him. That’s how it is. Nothing else to say and maybe that was too much.”
Asked a question about his team, he responds: “Ahhh, football.”

Further to the news we brought you earlier about Gareth Bale's ankle injury, it looks likely that the Welsh player will be out of action for four months. I think it is safe to say that is a big blow for both Real Madrid and Wales.

Very interesting admission by Faf du Plessis. Not that South Africa made an inroads, mind. Australia are 14-0 at the close of play on day one of the third Test in Adelaide, with the tourists having made 259-9 declared.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is currently speaking to the press. Here is what he has had to say about Steven Gerrard...
“I am only here 14 months. How can I be the person who can say how big these people are?
“I met Stevie already, he is a great person. He is far away from wanting to be a legend or handled like a legend. He is a completely normal guy.
"It’s nice having him around so good to hear he is back in town. All the rest, we will see.
”I watched a lot of football in my life and saw Steven Gerrard playing, so yeah, quite good.”

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Chris Kirkland talking about Steven Gerrard on BBC Radio 5 live: “He is a leader, he brings the best out of his team mates. We’ve seen it many times, when he carries the team through, especially in that Champions League final.
“He’s a credit to himself, his family, his city and England.
“He’s made the decision because he feels it is the best thing for himself and his family.
“I think his proudest moment will be that game (v AC Milan 2005).
“He has an awe and presence and thoroughly deserves it.”

SJ McNab: Never really been Steven Gerrard fan. But he had unparalleled ability to carry teams, he'd dig in & fight with gritty passion.
Chris Miller: Easy to forget Button outscored Hamilton at McLaren. Highlights how underrated Button was, and how overrated Hamilton is.

Losing Danny Drinkwater for the next three games is a massive blow for Leicester City. He's been the heartbeat of the side this season and been the club's best player. It would be surprising if we didn't see Daniel Amartey and Andy King start in central midfield against Middlesbrough on Saturday - but could Claudio Ranieri be daring and try something different?

Undoubtedly one of the highlights of Steven Gerrard's career is his equalising goal in the 2006 FA Cup final. You might remember it. It was the one that he hit from about three miles out.
You can have a watch of it here.
