    Wolfsburg's 23-year-old Germany attacking midfielder Julian Draxler, previously a target for Arsenal, has agreed a £34m move to French champions Paris St-Germain.

    According to the Daily Mail,, external Draxler has agreed a four-and-a-half year contract with PSG but the clubs are still finalising the fee.

    Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng has tweeted this picture after having surgery.

    The Germany international suffered a fall in a practice session last week and damaged a chest muscle tendon.

    Ouch.

    England captain Dylan Hartley "let his country down" with the third red card of his career, says coach Eddie Jones.

    Northampton hooker Hartley is serving a six-week ban for catching Leinster's Sean O'Brien with a swinging arm in a Champions Cup match earlier this month.

    The 30-year-old has now accumulated 60 weeks in suspensions, but is available for England's Six Nations defence.

    "This is not the last chance for him but he understands he can't behave in the way he did," Jones said.

    Speaking in the Telegraph,, external the Australian added: "He has let down himself, he has let down his club and he has let down his country."

    The New York Giants have been fined $150,000 (£121,279) for illegal walkie-talkie use during their game against the Dallas Cowboys on 12 December.

    Coach Ben McAdoo was also fined $50,000 (£40,422) for using the device after the regulated communication equipment used to stay in contact with quarterback Eli Manning malfunctioned.

    Confused? Seems the NFL have some pretty strict rules about communication between the team coach and on-field players.

    Valtteri Bottas' move to Mercedes as Lewis Hamilton's team-mate and Felipe Massa's return to replace him at Williams are close to completion.

    Massa, 35, has agreed with Williams to postpone his retirement for at least a year after Mercedes made a pitch for Bottas, 27, to replace Nico Rosberg.

    Rosberg announced his retirement after winning the world title last month.

    The deal for Bottas to leave Williams for Mercedes is also lined up and is set to be completed in the new year.

    This story shocked the sporting world yesterday.

    Now it has been announced that Petra Kvitova will not play tennis for at least three months, after having surgery following a knife attack at her home.

    The two-time Wimbledon champion said she was "fortunate to be alive" following a "burglary" incident on Tuesday when she struggled with an intruder.

    Surgeons spent almost four hours repairing tendons and nerves on her left hand - her playing hand.
