And - this is really niche, but we'll go there anyway - have you ever been asked out by a sports star? Or have you ever plucked up the courage to ask a sports star on a date?

Better yet, have you ever been stood up by an athlete?

If it helps, we can keep the identity of all sport stars anonymous...

Alan Willis: Cantona's chip goal v Sunderland, in the PL, 1996. If that doesn't make you fall in love with football, nothing will.

JT: My first ever game. Also Jurgen Klinsmann's home debut for Spurs. Scored twice. I knew then, aged 4 that I was hooked.

A BBC colleague has just been asked if he has ever fallen in love over sport.

When it was put to him that he may be in love with a team, he looked aghast.

It had to explained that he was being asked if he loved his team, rather than being in love with each individual player.

Keeping Ranieri is a 'risk'published at 08:49 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2017

    Football

    RanieriImage source, Getty Images

Leicester City are taking a "huge risk" keeping Claudio Ranieri as manager, says former Blackburn Rovers striker Chris Sutton.

The reigning Premier League champions are in real danger of relegation as they sit just one place and one point above the bottom three after a run of five successive defeats.

The Foxes issued a statement last week backing their Italian manager.

"I don't see how Ranieri can keep his job," Sutton told BBC Radio 5 live.

"Had they finished 12th last season and they were on this run of form everyone would be saying he has to go. Football is a ruthless business. The players are not playing for him.

"I think they are in absolutely enormous trouble."

Manchester City are hopeful forward Gabriel Jesus did not suffer a serious foot injury in the 2-0 Premier League victory against Bournemouth.

Jesus, 19, scored on his first two league starts for City but lasted just 14 minutes at Vitality Stadium after appearing to turn his ankle.

City will find out the extent of the problem on Tuesday.

"Hopefully it won't be for a long time," City boss Pep Guardiola told the BBC. "We will have to wait."

Jesus, who arrived from Palmeiras in January, scored in wins over West Ham and Swansea and was looking to become only the third City player - after Emmanuel Adebayor and Kevin de Bruyne - to find the net on each of his first three Premier League starts for the club.

More Manchester City triumph on the back pages of The Sun this morning.

The tabloid claim City boss Pep Guardiola is planning a £40m double bid for Atletico Madrid's French brothers Lucas and Theo Hernandez this summer. Lucas, 21, is a centre-back while Theo, 19, plays at left-back.

The question is, do their names fit the Yaya, Yaya, Yaya, Kolo, Kolo, Kolo, Toure song?

Gotta be honest, I had to have the The Daily Star's headline explained to me just now - never heard anyone use the term "crocked" for injured...

Anyway, Manchester City's new star Gabriel Jesus had to be replaced after just 14 minutes during their 0-2 win over Bournemouth.

They now lie in second, eight points behind Chelsea but City boss Pep Guardiola has apparently said the gap is too big to challenge for the Premier League title.
