Horse racing
Trainer Joseph O'Brien has issued a positive update on the condition of Edwulf after the horse collapsed in the closing stages of Tuesday's JT McNamara National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham on Tuesday.
The final race on the card was delayed by 10 minutes as the eight-year-old was being treated and he was eventually moved off the course while still being looked at, before being put into the horse ambulance.
O'Brien is unsure what caused the gelding's collapse, but reports him to be recovering in a veterinary hospital in nearby Tewkesbury.
"Everyone there has done a great job, and they did a great job with him yesterday on the track," he told ITV4. "It's very positive this morning. They're not altogether sure [what went wrong], they thought it may have been something to do with his heart, but his heart came back normal relatively quickly and then he got up."
Cheltenham
Did we mention it's Cheltenham this week?
There's some good news regarding Edwulf, who had to be treated after collapsing yesterday.
Six Nations
The year before, Wales and Scotland had refused to travel due to security fears during the height of the Northern Ireland Troubles, and the English match was in doubt.
Among England's senior players was winger David Duckham who had befriended Irish legend Willie John McBride on the 1971 Lions Tour.
McBride convinced Duckham to take a lead that the other players in his side would follow and England duly played the fixture in Dublin.
The England team received a long, standing ovation from the 50,000 Irish supporters when they came onto the pitch at Lansdowne Road.

You're in luck.
We've got rugby legends David Duckham and Willie John McBride recalling England's visit to play Ireland in the 1973 Five Nations.

Let's move smoothly back on to impossible dreams...
He's going to have a proper profile picture dilemma if the Foxes do win the Champions League...
Which trophy to go with?
Not quite the standard 'holiday snap on the beach or snazzy Christmas jumper' decision most of us spend hours pondering.
OK, just me.
Leicester City reach the Champions League quarter-finals
Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, who saved a penalty as his side reached the Champions League quarter-finals, is still in a jubilant mood.
I feel like you've probably completed Twitter if you can boast a profile picture of you holding the Premier League trophy.
What's that, Kasper...
Six Nations
Wales have named an unchanged side for the third consecutive game to play France in Paris on Saturday.
Hooker Ken Owens will win his 50th cap as coach Rob Howley sticks with the 23-man squad that beat Ireland 22-9 in Cardiff last Friday.
Wales team: Halfpenny, North, Davies, S William s, L Williams; Biggar, Webb; Evans, Owens, Francis, Ball, AW Jones (capt), Warburton, Tipuric, Moriarty.
Replacements: Baldwin, Smith, Lee, Charteris, Faletau, G Davies, S Davies, Roberts.
It's the final round of the Six Nations this Saturday, and there's news from the Wales camp...
L'Equipe (France)
French sports newspaper L'Equipe looks ahead to tonight's Champions League last-16 second leg as Monaco entertain Manchester City, trailing 3-5 after the first leg.
The paper says that Monaco are the last hope for French teams after the Paris St-Germain "fiasco" when they threw away their chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals by losing the second leg against Barcelona 6-1 after winning 4-0 in the first leg.
How's your French? Here's the view from the other side...
Monaco v Man City (19:45 GMT)
We're going to quickly glance back at the City game tonight, here's what has been said in the Monaco camp...
Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim says his side will have to score three goals to be certain of qualifying.
A 2-0 win would be enough for the French side to go through but Jardim is wary of City's attacking threat.
"It will be difficult," he said. "One thing is sure, for us to qualify in our current state, we'll need to score three goals. Two will not be enough. We will play with this target."
When has your team achieved the 'impossible'?
Tinypundit: The most impossible thing my team (Tranmere Rovers) has done is come back from 3-0 down to make it 4-3!
Alex Burgess: Derby finishing eighth despite being top and five clear with 13 games to go was our version of 'achieving the impossible'.
Adam Stubbings: Brentford v Doncaster for promotion in 2013, Brentford crash last minute penalty off the bar, Rovers break to score and win it.

We've been asking for your 'achieving the impossible' stories, but a Monaco comeback tonight would probably rank more under the 'tricky, but achievable' tag.
There's a couple of cracking turnarounds in this next post, though...
Monaco v Man City (19:45 GMT)
Guardiola will take charge of his 100th game in Europe on Wednesday, and the Spaniard certainly harbours some fond memories.
He has no new injury concerns for the trip to Stade Louis II.
Striker Gabriel Jesus (foot) and midfielder Ilkay Gundogan (knee) are the only senior absentees.
Captain Vincent Kompany will hope to feature for only the second time since November.
