"Joe Allen is out this weekend, but hopefully he will be OK for Swansea. Jon Walters has a slight knee problem, and is doubtful.

"Unfortunately we have lost Ibrahim Afellay for a number of weeks - he has gone back to his surgeon in Barcelona and has had an operation."

Swans boss Paul Clement: "Jack Cork isn’t going to be fit and that’s disappointing because he has been a regular. He could be out for two weeks.

Swansea are 18th in the Premier League and two points shy of safety.

The former Derby boss added: "We can’t focus on anyone else or anything else. We can’t worry about who other teams are playing or what they are doing.

"For us it’s about focusing on the task in hand and that is our game at Watford."
