Mourinho ends the misery?published at 16:02 British Summer Time 28 April 2017

Manchester United v Swansea (Sunday, 12:00 BST)

    Manchester United

Jose Mourinho says he has restored "happiness, trust, belief and resilience" to a Manchester United squad lacking it under Louis van Gaal.

The United boss said that new players arriving in the summer will join a squad "ready to go for big things".

Van Gaal was sacked last May after winning the FA Cup but failing to qualify for the Champions League.

In his first season at Old Trafford, Mourinho has won the League Cup and could still finish in the top four.

He has also guided his side into the Europa League semi-finals, where they will face Celta Vigo.

Inverness Caley Thistle duo Billy McKay and David Raven return from injuries. Larnell Cole is free to play after serving a one-match ban, but captain Gary Warren remains suspended.

Cardiff City v Newcastle United (Friday, 19:45 BST)

Already-promoted Newcastle must avoid defeat at Cardiff on Friday to keep their chances of winning the Championship title alive.

The Magpies are without winger Matt Ritchie (pictured) as he begins a two-game ban for using abusive or insulting language towards a match official against Leeds. Newcastle captain Jamaal Lascelles and defenders Vurnon Anita, Grant Hanley and Jesus Gamez all have knocks and may not feature.

Hosts Cardiff, in 13th with two games remaining, are at full strength. Top scorer Kenneth Zohore is fit again after being rested for Saturday's goalless draw at Wigan Athletic.

Defeat for Rafael Benitez's side would secure the title for Brighton, but the Seagulls will ensure top spot anyway if they match or better Newcastle's result when they host Bristol City on Saturday.

The leading group are heading up the toughest climb of the day so far, the Cote de Goathland - a 1.3km climb, averaging 7.5% gradient, with some sections at 9.7%.

The bunch then follows, still just over two minutes behind.

Whitby is the next notable point for the race to pass through.

There is 55km to go in Stage One of the 2017 Tour de Yorkshire left to go as the riders work their way towards the finish in Scarborough.

A group of seven riders are in the breakaway out front, just over two minutes ahead of the peloton.

Australian team Orica-Scott are doing plenty of work on the front of the main bunch to keep the gap steady.

That's because their sprinter Caleb Ewan will be one of the favourites for the stage should it come down to a bunch sprint in Scarborough.

Conte wants fixture fairnesspublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 28 April 2017

Everton v Chelsea (Sunday, 14:05 BST)

    Chelsea

And lastly from Antonio Conte - the Chelsea boss says the Premier League should put an end to two teams in a title battle playing at different times in a gameweek.

Chelsea take on Everton at 14:05 BST on Sunday, meaning Tottenham will know the result as they take the field against Arsenal at 16:30 BST.

"It's not an advantage [to play before Tottenham]. At the end of the season, I think that when you have two teams in the race, in contention for the title you must have a good balance to try to put the fixtures in the same hour, on the same days, and don't give advantage to one team or another," said Conte.

“When you arrive at the last three games, when you see there are two or three teams very close to fight for the title, you have to find a solution not to give advantage for one team or another. Try and keep it the same hour, the same days to rest.”

As a five-time Serie A winner and Champions League winner as a player, plus a three-time Serie A winner as a manager, Antonio Conte isn't short of a trophy or two.

So where would winning the Premier League title this year rank in his career?

"For me, this is the first season in England and to arrive here, in a different country, with a different language and to bring my philosophy and idea of football, it's not easy in the first season," saind Conte.

"To fight for the title and the FA Cup, for me, is a great achievement but I hope, always, to stay in the future and have always this type of situation. And to try to win with my players. With the club. With the fans, together.”

Everton v Chelsea (Sunday, 14:05 BST)

    Chelsea

Diego Costa or Romelu Lukaku? A question usually pondered by fantasy football managers, but also answered by Chelsea boss Antonio Conte today.

"Lukaku is scoring a lot of goals this season, but not only this season. We must pay great attention to him," said Conte.

"In my team? As I said before, for me my players are the best in the world. I don't change my players with other players."

And did he agree with N'Golo Kante being awarded PFA Player of the Year?

“In this case, I prefer to have 23 votes and to vote for every one of my players," replied Conte, ever the diplomat.

She is now just one win away from guaranteeing a place in the French Open and Wimbledon qualifiers, having returned from a 15-month doping ban.

There has been plenty of outcry regarding her comeback, with Canada's Eugenie Bouchard calling her a "cheat" who should not have been allowed to play again.

When asked about Bouchard's comments, Sharapova, 30, said: "I'm looking forward."

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder tells BBC Sport he wants to fight the winner of Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko.

His goal is to firstly take on New Zealand's Joseph Parker, who holds the WBO title. That would create a scenario where the four belts in the division are split between two men.

Deontay wants that unification bout which would create the first undisputed champion since Mr Lennox Lewis.
