Congratulations to Lyon, who have just picked up their second consecutive treble in women's football.

The French league and cup holders secured a fourth Champions League trophy last night by beating Paris St-Germain 7-6 on penalties in Cardiff.

Keeper Sarah Bouhaddi struck the winning spot kick after PSG stopper Katarzyna Kiedrzynek had missed.

The Cardiff City Stadium crowd of 22,433 was the second-largest for a final since the competition rebranded as the Women's Champions League for the 2009-10 season.

Real Madrid and Juventus descend on the great city of Cardiff this weekend for the Champions League final, held at the Principality Stadium.

It's a homecoming for Madrid forward Gareth Bale, and the Welshman says he's going to take his team mates to the pub he owns on Castle Street if they win. Cristiano Ronaldo, partying on Castle Street. What an image.

This got us thinking - which famous sports people have you spotted out and about in your local village/town/city?

For example, I (Caroline) saw a limping Ashley Young in a trendy part of Manchester the other day (I was lost).

Mike saw David Ginola at his local kids' rugby club in Datchworth in Hertfordshire.

    Cricket

England's Chris Woakes has been sent for a scan on a side strain and is a "worry" for the rest of the Champions Trophy, according to captain Eoin Morgan.

Woakes bowled two overs in the eight-wicket one-day-international win over Bangladesh before leaving the field.

Morgan said: "We'll see what [the scan] comes up with. It doesn't feel right."

The captain added on TMS that man of the match Joe Root "showed his class, even [though he picked] up a niggle".

Root compiled a career-best ODI score of 133 not out, despite sustaining a calf strain.

You can watch highlights of the match below.
