    American Brooks Koepka equalled the US Open's lowest winning score of 16 under to claim his first major at Erin Hills.

    Koepka had three successive birdies from the 14th to match the total set by Rory McIlroy when he won in 2011 on a par-71 layout compared to this par 72.

    His five-under 67 was only bettered by Japan's Hideki Matsuyama who posted 66 to tie for second on 12 under with overnight leader Brian Harman (72).

    England's Tommy Fleetwood, shot a level-par 72 to end fourth on 11 under.

    The Chinese Super League transfer window has opened today, raising the potential for another massive deal being done for Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney.

    A move to China is one of a number of options for Rooney, which also include remaining at United for the final year of his contract.

    However, Rooney may wish to consider the fate of former team-mate Carlos Tevez, who joined Shanghai Shenhua on a mega deal earlier in the year.

    Neither the team, nor Tevez, are performing to expectations and when the Argentine was spotted at a theme park after missing a game through injury this weekend, fans took to social media to condemn him, with one saying he has "the worst attitude in the team's history".

    Big money. Big demands.

    He was set to be on the bench in the 32-10 win over the Maori All Blacks on Saturday but was withdrawn after a quadriceps injury in training.

    He will not feature on Tuesday against the Chiefs, with Gatland naming the six recent call-ups among his replacements.

    "At a pinch he probably could have played [on Saturday]," said coach Warren Gatland.
