Campbell, 23, joined on a one-year deal in February 2016 but missed much of the season with injury.
She returned for the 2017 Spring Series and City's FA Cup win, scoring once and contributing four assists.
"This club is like a family. I'm really grateful to the players and staff for putting their trust in me," said the Republic of Ireland international.

It means the 46-year-old, hurt in a paddock fall at Great Yarmouth on 13 June, will be absent when Cracksman, on whom he was third in the Epsom Derby, lines up in Saturday's Irish Derby at The Curragh.

The England Women's cricket team will not be posting any holiday snaps any time soon, they are steering clear of Twitter for the duration of the World Cup to avoid distraction. It didn't work in the first match as they lost to India, but they will seek an improvement tomorrow against Pakistan in Leicester, a match you can hear live on BBC Radio 5 live and follow live text of on the BBC website.

More now on the big row in F1, prompted by Sebastian Vettel swerving into Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes during Sunday's Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku.
Legendary former world champion Sir Jackie Stewart said: "Lewis slowed down so quickly in a very unlikely place. You have got to take that into account. That was a shock to Sebastian, and that is why he came alongside Lewis to ask 'what the hell are you doing?' What Vettel then did was to unquestionably collide with Hamilton.
"There is no room for that, no excuse for that and it is wrong. It is inappropriate behaviour. It would be very simple to put the complete blame on one man, but what initiated the bad behaviour was what happened before.
"It was totally unexpected. I am not trying to hook Lewis into this the wrong way, but that was the whole crux of what happened. Lewis put his brakes on so hard that Vettel hit him. I am not blaming Lewis for the accident but I have to say I have never seen anyone come off the throttle so quickly."

Senior football reporter in Poland for 5 live SportIn the German press conference, their U-21 coach Stefan Kuntz, who played in the winning Germany team at Euro 96, makes a point of acknowledging England's "special success" with the U-17's reaching the Euro final, the U-20's winning the World Cup and now the U-21's.
The 54-year-old says Germany haven't practised penalties - "makes no sense to train".
Predictably there were a lot of Euro 96 questions....

But the gesture looks to have been short-lived as local websites showed a picture of the street sign being taken away the following day.
A statement from the local Ubungo council said procedures to rename a street had not been observed.
