    Double Olympic champion Jade Jones took a bronze medal in the World Taekwondo Championships after losing in the semi-finals to Lee Ah-reum earlier this morning.

    The Welsh fighter, 24, was beaten 14-8 by the home favourite in South Korea.

    "Sometimes you lose and I just have to go away from here and train hard get better," Jones told BBC Sport.

    "I'm obviously saving it for the big occasion in Manchester for the Worlds [in 2019].

    "I just wasn't me. I didn't fight as well as I normally fight and I just didn't pressure enough. I didn't do enough."

    World number one Andy Murray is having his third practice session of the day, back on his favourite Court 15 at Aorangi Park.

    He is hitting with 17-year-old Scottish junior Aidan Mchugh, who is coached by Toby Smith, brother of GB David Cup captain Leon Smith.

    Murray looks ok, fairly comfortable and relaxed. His team appear relaxed too.

    Huddersfield manager David Wagner signed a two-year contract extension earlier today and the Daily Mirror say, external he is interested in bringing Derby winger Tom Ince to the newly-promoted Terriers, plus former Nottingham Forest wideman Oliver Burke, the 20-year-old Scotland international, on a loan from RB Leipzig.

    Hughie Fury, younger cousin of former world heavyweight champion Tyson, will have the chance to fight for the WBO heavyweight title against defending champion Joseph Parker at the Manchester Arena on 23 September.

    Fury, 22, had been scheduled to challenge New Zealander Parker, 25, in Auckland on 6 May 6 until a back injury forced his withdrawal a fortnight before.

    Alex Ward, at 855 in the world, will play fellow Britain Kyle Edmund in round one.

    Andy Murray plays Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan, who is 134 in the world. Bublik qualifies as a lucky loser (a player who lost in the final round of qualifying but comes into the draw because of an injury withdrawal).

    It was closer than close in that final set but multiple unforced errors from Watson meant the Dane was able to break through.

    It ended 2-6 6-3 5-7 in favour of former world number one Caroline Wozniacki and she goes on to face Karolina Pliskova in Saturday's final.
