After winning the semi-final, Adam Peaty tells BBC Two: "I was trying too much, my subconscious knows it is a semi-final, so it doesn't mean that much but tomorrow I will bring my 'A' game.

"It was quite a quick turnaround but I'm happy with that win. Who knows what will happen tomorrow? When you come to something like this it is all about the win and that's what I'm going for."

I think he was pretty excited to do something special tonight, he felt great this morning and thought he was back on it.

Adam maybe tried to lay down some sort of special marker there, with the pressure off in the semi-final.

It was a solid swim. You've got to win the races you're in, but he did it in quite a tough way. He'll need a better start in the first 20 or 30m. Adam Peaty won't let him get away with that.

I can't see anyone threatening Peaty, really.
