Away from the swimming and Britain was bathing in gold earlier today when queen of the track Laura Kenny won her second European title of these championships.

She won elimination race gold, two days after team pursuit success on Friday.

The swimming ended with another gold for Britain in the pool, this time in the men's 4x200m freestyle relay.

That's the swimming done for the day at the Tollcross pool. We've seen Duncan Scott's swim, so let's take another look back at Georgia Davies' stunning effort to win 50m backstroke gold - her first individual European title.

Duncan Scott has come on so much from the Rio Olympics, when he got those relay medals.

I think that in Tokyo he'll come away being a multiple Olympic medallist. I feel like he's just going from strength to strength as an athlete.

That relay win means it's two medals in one day for Duncan Scott, having won 100m freestyle silver a little earlier on.

He's already received his first medal, and he'll shortly be on the podium again with his relay team-mates, just another step higher.

We can beat the Americans and Australians when we get it right, but now they seem to be getting it right all the time and that's the difference.

Britain's time there of 7:05.32 was a new championship record. Great result to end today's swimming session.

James Guy is smashing this and he's a body length ahead with 100m to go.

They're 1.28 seconds ahead, Russia second, Italy third.

Russia have regained the lead from Britain at 500m, with Italy third. But Dean is really giving this his everything, he's not letting Russia get away and he finishes his leg in first!

James Guy takes over for the final leg. He loves this kind of pressure.

Italy have really come into this race in the second leg. They push Duncan Scott and Britain down into third at 300m.

But hang on, it's a huge shift from Scott and he's put Britain well ahead. Great opportunity for Thomas Dean here as he takes over.

It's well within our capabilities to win this gold medal, but it's going to be a battle and it's going to be pretty scrappy.

Calum Jarvis leads Britain out in the first leg and moves into third place at the 150m mark.
