    Gold-medal winner Nafi Thiam: "I went to bed thinking I could do it, and I woke up thinking I could do it and so I pushed myself, I fought, and I'm really happy it paid off.

    "It was good to have her (Katarina Johnson-Thompson) there, she really pushed me to the limit and in the following years it is probably going to be more and more like that.

    "Every year I'm doing all I can in training. We have an amazing generation of heptathletes. I'm just going to enjoy this moment."
