800m final
A trio of Britons go in the next final and all have a shot at the podium.
Lynsey Sharp is a two-time European champion but needed to put in a late spurt of form to earn selection after under-performing at the British trials.
Shelayna Oskan-Clarke and Adelle Tracey came through that shake-down in Birmingham.
France’s 2016 European silver medallist Renelle Lamote, the fastest qualifier, is in lane six.
The battle for gold might well come down between her and defending champion champion Nataliya Pryshchepa of Ukraine.

Hudson-Smith may not be race smart yet and know how to execute the race the right way.
That could have gone horribly wrong against a world-class field and we know he can run faster than that.
Hudson-Smith wins 400m gold
Colin Jackson
Two-time world 110m hurdles champion on BBC TV
He really set off didn't he, a man on a mission!
Hudson-Smith really wanted this title. He was furious after not taking the title at the Commonwealth Games.
Yes, it's nice to run fast but taking the title is the most important thing.

400m final
Colin Jackson
Two-time world 110m hurdles champion on BBC TV
He will have to run the first 300m very strong to be a contender in the Olympics and World Championships.
You can imagine the last 100m would have been agony, the pain from the lactic would have been awful and the relief to reach the line must have been massive.
400m final
Matt Hudson-Smith won in 44.78 seconds. Belgium's Kevin Borlee claimed second behind him just ahead of his own brother Jonathan.
Hurdles world champion Karsten Warholm was way down in eighth.
400m final
It was kamikaze fast in the first 300m, but Matt Hudson Smith holds on for dear life as the lactic floods through in the last 50m.
He made it. Just!
Men's 400m final
It is Matt Hudson-Smith by a street at the moment...
400m final
Great Britain's Matthew Hudson-Smith - who trains alongside Noah Lyles in the United States nowadays - crouches into his blocks.
Can he go one better than his 2014 European bronze?

That's a great shame, Morgan Lake just miss-times it slightly.
She couldn't time the arch going over the bar, that's so disappointing
Women's high jump final
Morgan Lake gives it her all but fails to clear 1.91m and it's seventh place for her.
Javelin final
Tatsiana Khaladovich is the reigning champion and has the best throw in Europe this year with and effort of 67.47.
However Germany’s Christin Hussong launched one out to just 18cm short of that mark in qualifying.
With a home crowd at her back, could she overhaul the Belorussian?

Men's 400m final
No let-up on this packed night of finals.
Britain’s Matthew Hudson-Smith is the fastest man in the field this year and looked impressive in Wednesday’s semi-final.
He can be prone to major brain freezes though on the big stage.
If he can keep cool and loose the gold may well be his to lose...
Reigning world 400m hurdles champion Norway’s Karsten Warholm is appearing in his fourth race in as many days.
