Women's 200m
Just a little roll-call for where everyone else in the world is this year when it comes to the women's 200m.
Before tonight, Nigeria's Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguonor was the world's best on 22.04 seconds.
Then Shericka Jackson of Jamaica on 22.05
Then Shaunae Miller Uibo of the Bahamas on 22.06.
Dina Asher-Smith's time again? 21.89.
Twenty-four carat class.

Women's 200m final

That was a fantastic race, faster than we expected given the conditions. We all expected Dina to her to go under 22 seconds and now she's done that.
When Dina got going, she was already up on Jamile Samuel on the outside. She came off the bend with a fantastic lead.
She's so confident now. We can say now, at this point, she's mastered this 200m event. That was amazing.
Colin Jackson
Two-time world 110m hurdles champion on BBC TV
Really classy sprinting demonstrated by Dina there. She's phenomenal at it and has demonstrated once again what a star he is.
This is her first really full winter - she hasn't had the opportunity to put a whole winter together without injury interrupting her training. What a base this is for her going into another winter's training.
Enjoy this moment because it is very special.
200m final
They were both nearly a second back from Dina Asher-Smith, taking in the view.

200m final
Dafne Schippers - the world champion in London last summer remember - had given up five metres into the last 75m.
She closed a little, but not much.
No doubt whose house this Olympic Stadium is.
The rest of the field are just Dina Asher-Smith's guests.
Oh, Jamile Samuel third by the way.
Colin Jackson
Two-time world 110m hurdles champion on BBC TV
Asher-Smith put them all under pressure and challenged them to catch her. That's a brilliant piece of running and it will give her even more confidence.
200m finals
And there is a headline time to go with the gold.
Dina Asher-Smith takes a massive chunk out of her previous personal best of 22.07.
21.89. Twenty-one point eight nine seconds.
A new world lead.
Boom.
200m
In comfort!
200m final
The field is announced, each with their own introduction and ring-walk.
Bianca Williams - relaxed.
Beth Dobbin - tense.
Dina Asher-Smith - business-like.
Here we go...

Beth Dobbin has run really well the last couple of days at these championships, Bianca Williams is going to be in the mix but medals are going to be difficult, especially in lane two.
But this is Dina's race to lose. I think she's been handling the pressure and status as the number one really well.

It’s a real testament to what happens when you work hard and have good luck with injuries. We are seeing the best of Dina Asher-Smith because she’s been clear of injuries and I think there’s plenty more to come from her.
The 200m is her favourite event so she must be full of confidence. She did make it look very easy in the semi-finals and that makes it very interesting to see how fast she can go.
Jamile Samuel may be the Dutchwoman to watch rather than world champion Dafne Schippers. She is in good form and has beaten Schippers this year. Can Schippers beat Dina? I don’t think so and I’m not sure, given her form, that she can beat her own countrywoman.

This is going to be a fantastic race. This track is great for sprinting, the athletes know that and they know the history of this track. It is fast.
Coming into this Championships, the standard seemed low but we've seen Championship records through the week. The conditions aren't fantastic but it's got a little cooler so not the best for sprinters.
This race is set up for Dina Asher-Smith. She's confident from the 100m and winning the gold medal there.
Dafne Schippers comes into this race knowing she's not in the best shape, I don't know whether her focus will be on gold or just a medal.
Dina will get out fast, that will put pressure on Schippers but she will try. The lane set up really favours Dina but Jamile Samuel on the right outside could have something to say.
