  6. Will players protest on biggest stage?published at 23:16 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2017

New England Patriots v Atlanta Falcons (23:30 GMT)

One of the talking points of this NFL season has been the decision of some players to protest the American national anthem before games, a move instigated by San Francisco's Colin Kaepernick and adopted by many of his peers.

Kaepernick's actions - in protest against the plight of black people in the US - received support from New England Patriots duo Martellus Bennett and Devin McCourty on the opening day of the season.

Later in the campaign, Atlanta Falcons players locked arms with their New Orleans Saints counterparts in a "message of togetherness" (below) that was influenced by Kaepernick's protests but sought to avoid disrespecting the national anthem.

Will we see anything similar tonight? Well, there's no bigger stage than the Super Bowl...

Kick-off just 20 minutes away then, though I have seen them kick off late in the past. There's about seven coin tosses to get through and then the national anthem - sung tonight by Luke Bryan.

    You know! Luke Bryan. No?

Me neither. Two words - Country. And Western.

  10. Attack [Offense] v Defence [Defense]published at 23:08 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2017

New England Patriots v Atlanta Falcons (23:30 GMT)

It's a classic case of the best attack v the best defence tonight. Except the best defence aren't half bad going forwards either.

The Falcons come into the Super Bowl having scored 540 points in the regular season, the most in the league and the eighth most in history.

While the Patriots let just 250 points on the board during the regular season. Tight as it gets.

“I met my hero (Manchester United striker Zlatan) Ibrahimovic and that was the greatest day of my life – it really was," said Osi.

"I went up to shoot something with Manchester United, external as they know how much of a fan I am and he was so cool. He was such a fantastic guy, man.”

Jason says he has an admiration for Chelsea: “We went down to Chelsea and did something with their goalkeepers. I was such a fan – those guys are huge."

With NFL's popularity growing in the UK and games being hosted at Wembley Stadium in recent years, there has been debate on the possibility of a London-based team.

    But can it ever happen?

"I really can’t answer that question - I can’t say yes, I can’t say no," said Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone, whose team will play at Wembley on 24 September.

Two-time Super Bowl winner and BBC pundit Osi Umenyiora added: "If human beings figured out a way to put a man on the moon, they'll find a way to bring a franchise to the UK. I think that the time is coming."
