That was a missed opportunity. Chiefs should be on the board.

And now Patrick Mahomes is sacked! A big loss as well. They'll have to punt it now, can't even take the three. Sloppy.

Touchdowwww.... no!
Patrick Mahomes is balling now, he picks out Damien Williams wide open but it's a yard too heavy...
New England Patriots 7-0 Kansas City Chiefs
First down! Patrick Mahomes is in trouble, flushed out of the pocket, almost sacked but he somehow finds a pass over the middle to Sammy Watkins! Great play.
And that's even better! Mahomes drops deep and then finds Tyreek Hill.
That was 42 yards!

Time for the Chiefs to find a way through. A first down would be a start.

New England's coach Bill Belichick is the main factor. Obviously they have a great quartrback in Tom Brady who is still able to do it at the top level. If you have those two in your team you're going to be able to win a whole bunch of games every year.
Brady has stayed healthy, the team has been relatively healthy. That's been a big help.

The Chiefs will have the ball back. Their total yardage so far is -2. Bill Belichick masterclass?

Incredible! Tom Brady is almosy sacked, he throws a pass the wrong side of James White, who is looking the other way, but somehow catches it anyway! With one hand.
They just convert third downs as a matter of course.

Tom Brady has the ball back on his own 26-yard line. Here come the Patriots once more. Incredibly, 36 members of the Pats squad has played in the AFC Championship game before.
Not one Chief has. That experience is showing at the moment, although Brady is almost picked off but it lands safe!
LA Rams 26-23 New Orleans Saints
"I don't know if there was ever a more obvious pass interference call. That's a tough one to swallow," Saints coach Sean Payton said in his postgame press conference.
"Our team played well. We played well enough to win the game. We should have won the game."
New England Patriots 7-0 Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas will have to punt it away. They can't find anything on the offense yet.
New England Patriots 7-0 Kansas City Chiefs

In the end zone! Big play from Reggie Ragland!
Could have been a touchdown, instead it's a pick.

Back on the field, another huge drive...

Andrew Priestley: If the Patriots can beat the Chiefs tonight, in Arrowhead Stadium, against the most productive offence in the league, in -8 degree cold, then they can most certainly beat the Rams in the Superbowl. The Patriots’ familiarity in the big game would make them favourites.
And if you are just joining us, a 57-yard field goal from Greg Zuerlein saw the LA Rams beat the New Orleans Saints 26-23 in overtime to reach Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta.
