  3. Game of the day - Beebe redeems himselfpublished at 00:42 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2020

    Minnesota Vikings 28-27 Carolina Panthers

A breathtaking finish for the Vikings saw Chad Beebe score his first touchdown in the NFL when he caught a 10-yard pass with 46 seconds left on the clock, having moments earlier muffed a punt to give the ball to the Panthers at the Minnesota nine-yard line.

Dan Bailey scored the extra point, after his first kick was charged down but retaken because of an offside.

The Panthers still had time to give themselves a chance to win it, but Joe Slye pulled his field goal attempt left of the uprights from 54 yards with just one second remaining.

Justin Jefferson got two touchdown for the Vikings, while Panthers rookie Jeremy Chinn had earlier made two defensive touchdowns on successive players.

  4. What about the quarterback-less Broncos?published at 00:42 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2020

Denver Broncos 3-31 New Orleans Saints

The Denver Broncos were without all four of their quarterbacks after Jeff Driskel tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday and team-mates Drew Lock, Brett Rypien and Blake Bortles were put in isolation after all being deemed "high-risk" close contacts.

Practice squad receiver Kendall Hinton, who played quarterback in college, filled in during the 31-3 defeat by New Orleans Saints.

The 23-year-old graduate of Wake Forest University is an undrafted player who has been on the team's practice squad since last month, and finished one of nine passing for 13 yards, with two interceptions.

It all but ends Denver's slim play-off hopes, while New Orleans are 9-2 at the top of the NFC South.

  5. Early games round-uppublished at 00:40 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2020

Tennessee Titans regained first place in the AFC South with a 45-26 win over the Indianapolis Colts as Derrick Henry dominated to finish with 178 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries.

Nick Folk kicked a 50-yard field goal in the final seconds to keep New England Patriots' play-off hopes alive with a 20-17 victory over Arizona Cardinals.

Ryan Fitzpatrick threw two touchdown passes as the Miami Dolphins beat the winless New York Jets 20-3 to return to winning ways after their own five-game streak was ended last week.

New York Giants are top of the NFC East with a record of 4-7 despite losing starting quarterback Daniel Jones to a hamstring injury as they won 19-17 against Cincinnati Bengals, who saw Brandon Wilson go all the way from 103 yards.

AFC leaders Buffalo Bills held off the LA Chargers after opening an 18-point lead, with Josh Allen throwing a touchdown and running another, while receiver Cole Beasley also got in on the act with a touchdown pass.

Cleveland Browns - for whom Callie Brownson made history by becoming the first woman to serve as a positional coach in an NFL game - improved to 8-3 for the first time since 1994 as they beat the Jacksonville 27-25 to inflict a 10th successive defeat on the Jaguars, who sit at 1-10.

  6. Work to do for Brady and copublished at 00:39 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2020

FT: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24-27 Kansas City Chiefs

Defeat tonight was a blow to Tampa Bay's play-off hopes but a 7-5 record keeps them very much in the picture.

New Orleans' win in depleted Denver keeps them top of the NFC South and looking like a post-season lock. They would be the number one NFC seeds as it stands.

FT: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24-27 Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are strolling into the play-offs after that hard-fought win in Tampa.

All of the other three AFC West sides suffered damaging defeats tonight although the Las Vegas Raiders still have post-season aspirations despite being hammered 43-6 in Atlanta.

    Breaking

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24-27 Kansas City Chiefs

Tyreek Hill hauls in a catch from Patrick Mahomes.

That's a Kansas first down - and that's the game. Fitting that Hill clinched it after his touchdown hat-trick heroics that ultimately decided this one.

The Chiefs move to 10-1 while Tampa drop to 7-5. Kansas are play-off bound but Tom Brady's Buccaneers have work to do.

  9. Postpublished at 00:26 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2020

Here we go. Any drama left?

The Chiefs gain a couple of yards but it's third-and-7 now. Big play...

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24-27 Kansas City Chiefs

Another run from Patrick Mahomes who is taking all this pressure on his own shoulders.

Tampa have no timeouts left as we reach the two-minute warning.

That Mahomes run should seal the win as a result unless the Buccaneers can force a turnover. There just won't be enough time on the clock otherwise.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24-27 Kansas City Chiefs

Can Patrick Mahomes lead the Chiefs over the line in this one?

They led 27-10 at one stage, remember.

A nice play from the Kansas quarterback as he scrambles for a first down. Three minutes to go, the Buccaneers need a stop.

Touchdown - Buccaneerspublished at 00:19 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2020

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24-27 Kansas City Chiefs

One game remaining - and it's going to the wire!

Those two penalties for roughing the passer really bit the Chiefs on the bottom as Tom Brady finds Mike Evans in the endzone for his second touchdown of this fourth quarter.

  14. Full-time - 49ers winpublished at 00:17 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2020
    Breaking

Los Angeles Rams 20-23 San Francisco 49ers

Drama at the death as LA's Jalen Ramsey encroaches before the field goal which means a five-yard penalty.

It makes it a 44-yard field goal instead of a 49-yard one - and Robbie Gould lands it. The 49ers beat NFC West divisional leaders the Rams.

This blows the division wide open.

  15. Postpublished at 00:15 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2020

Four seconds left in LA. San Francisco call a time out and Robbie Gould will prepare for a potential game-winning field goal for the 49ers....

  16. Postpublished at 00:12 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2020

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-27 Kansas City Chiefs

Meanwhile, there are still five minutes left in Tampa and a penalty against Kansas for roughing the passer - a helmet hit on Tom Brady - has put the Buccaneers into Chiefs territory.

They couldn't, could they? He couldn't, could he?

Oh another roughing the passer penalty! Tampa are close in now.

  17. Postpublished at 00:08 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2020

Los Angeles Rams 20-20 San Francisco 49ers

A massive stop for the Rams as they prevent the 49ers getting a fresh set of downs.

It's fourth-and-1 - the 49ers are going for it??!! Instead of kicking a long field goal!

And they get the yard they need as full-back Kyle Juszczyk bustles through.

That could be a match-winner for San Francisco. Although the play is under review. VAR-esque.

  18. Postpublished at 00:05 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2020

Los Angeles Rams 20-20 San Francisco 49ers

But Aaron Donald can do nothing about this as Deebo Samuel runs a slant route and makes it over midfield for the 49ers.

Advantage San Francisco with 45 seconds to go. The Rams call a time out.

  20. Postpublished at 00:03 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2020

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-27 Kansas City Chiefs

Wow. What a turning point. It looked like a Kansas interception but a penalty brought the play back.

Patrick Mahomes was picked out as he launched one but Bucs defender Jason Pierre-Paul was penalised for hitting the quarterback in the helmet as he released the ball.

Roughing the passer. Wounder for Tampa Bay.
