Denver Broncos 0-17 New Orleans Saints

A rare bright spot for the Broncos tonight.

A Taysom Hill throw is deflected and a Denver defender catches it before running the ball back into Saints territory.

Can Denver get on the board?

  2. field goal

Field goal - Chiefspublished at 22:52 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-20 Kansas City Chiefs

Nice work from the Bucs' defense to thwart any Kansas hopes of a touchdown before the break.

They have to settle for a routine Harrison Butker field goal which stretches their lead to 13.

That's half-time at the Raymond James Stadium.

  3. Turnoverpublished at 22:50 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

Denver Broncos 0-17 New Orleans Saints

Denver's makeshift quarterback Kendall Hinton has just recorded a first down - his first of the game.

However, he then threw his second interception a couple of plays later. It's a tough task for the stand-in with four QBs out for Covid reasons.

Tom Brady's wife was happy with that Buccaneers drive.

  8. touchdown

Touchdown - Buccaneerspublished at 22:36 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-17 Kansas City Chiefs

    Turning point?

Heck of a run from Ronald Jones who takes a short catch from Tom Brady, hurdles a tackle out wide and just about keeps his feet in bounds to sprint in from almost 40 yards.

Just a couple of minutes ago, Kansas were threatening a 24-0 lead but Patrick Mahomes' fumble has given Tampa a route back into this one.

It might be a different uniform they're wearing but Tom Brady to Rob Gronkowski is just forever.

The veteran quarterback has found his fellow former Patriot twice on this drive including one throw for a big gain.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 0-17 Kansas City Chiefs

Ronald Jones with a nice run for the Buccaneers.

But, no, the play is called back for an offensive holding penalty.

Nothing's going right for Tampa Bay on offense.

  11. field goal

Field goal - Saintspublished at 22:26 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

Denver Broncos 0-17 New Orleans Saints

  12. Turnover for Tampa Baypublished at 22:26 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 0-17 Kansas City Chiefs

Exactly what the doctor ordered for Tampa!

A rare error from the usually faultless Patrick Mahomes as the Chiefs quarterback is sacked and fumbles in the process.

Tampa recover it. Could this be the turning point they were looking for?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 0-17 Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are threatening to extend their lead in Tampa. If they score again, it's tough to see a way back, even for comeback king Tom Brady.

Patrick Mahomes finds Demarcus Robinson and Kansas are eight yards from the line. But wait...!!!

  14. touchdown

Touchdown - Saintspublished at 22:24 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

Denver Broncos 0-14 New Orleans Saints

Still no completions for Kendall Hinton and things have just got worse for the Broncos.

Taysom Hill is in from two yards for the touchdown to double New Orleans' lead.

  15. Postpublished at 22:12 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

Denver Broncos 0-7 New Orleans Saints

What about Kendall Hinton, the Broncos' stand-in quarterback?

Well, he's 0/6. Not as easy as it looks, this QB lark...

Remember, Denver are without all four of their regular quarterbacks and practice squad receiver Hinton, who played quarterback in college, has stepped in to fill the void.

  16. touchdown

Touchdown - Chiefspublished at 22:08 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

Kansas City Chiefs 17-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Patrick Mahomes to Tyreek Hill, again!

This time it's just the 44 yards and the Chiefs edge into a 17-point lead.

    There's no stopping that combo.

  17. Postpublished at 22:01 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

LA Rams 3-7 San Francisco 49ers

Nick Mullens has Jordan Reed in acres of space but he overthrows his man and is visibly frustrated. The 49ers lead, but it could have been more.

  18. touchdown

Touchdown - Chiefspublished at 21:56 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

Kansas City Chiefs 10-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

    Patrick Mahomes, take a bow!

The Chiefs quarterback wheels back before launching a 75-yard pass for Tyreek Hill to take smartly on the run and dash home for a touchdown. Superb.

Kansas City take a 10-0 lead.

Mike Crew: Another thing to add to the “2020 the year of things you’d thought you never see” list: NFL team plays without a quarterback.

It does seem a bit unfair on Denver to have to play without a quarterback when other teams have been able to postpone games a few days.

  20. touchdown

Touchdown - Saintspublished at 21:49 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

Denver Broncos 0-7 New Orleans Saints

Taysom Hill runs in from close range to give the current NFC top seeds, the New Orleans Saints, the lead in Denver.

What do quarterback-less Denver have in response? That's right. Quarterback-less. Covid means they have a wide receiver at QB tonight. This year, eh?
