    Indianapolis Colts 0-7 Tennessee Titans

What an opening drive from the Titans and, in particular, Derrick Henry.

The NFL's leading running back led Tennessee down the field in their first possession so it was fitting that he collected a pass wide out from Ryan Tannehill to cruise over.

    That's Henry's 10th touchdown of the season.

Derrick Henry is something else. His stiff arms are stronger than my punches. Than most people's punches.

He dumps a Colts defender on the floor with one such extension of his arm and the Titans are already inside the Indianapolis 20-yard line.

    Indianapolis Colts 0-0 Tennessee Titans

We're under way at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

It could be pass vs rush here tonight - only Patrick Mahomes' Kansas City pass for more yards per game than Philip Rivers' Colts.

Whereas Titans running-back Derrick Henry has the most rushing yards in the league.

It's Tennessee who get the ball first - and Henry rushes for six yards.

  5. Play-off race - NFCpublished at 18:02 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

Here's how things are looking in the NFC, a slight distortion caused by the fact the NFC East winner is guaranteed a play-off place for winning their division even though they have a losing record.

    1. New Orleans Saints 8-2
    2. Green Bay Packers 7-3
    3. Los Angeles Rams 7-3
    4. Washington 4-7
    5. Seattle Seahawks 7-3
    6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-4
    7. Arizona Cardinals 6-4
  6. Play-off race - AFCpublished at 18:00 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

We're heading into the final stretch of the season and with seven play-off places up for grabs in each conference for the first time this season - up one from the usual six - let's take a look at who's in the running.

    We'll start with the AFC:

    1. Pittsburgh Steelers 10-0
    2. Kansas City Chiefs 9-1
    3. Buffalo Bills 7-3
    4. Indianapolis Colts 7-4
    5. Tennessee Titans 7-3
    6. Cleveland Browns 7-3
    7. Miami Dolphins 6-4Las Vegas Raiders 6-4Baltimore Ravens 6-4

Ever since the newly Tom Brady-less New England Patriots slipped to 2-5 early in the season, they have been staring down the barrel.

Back-to-back wins gave them a glimmer of play-off hope but that dimmed with defeat at Houston last Sunday as they slipped to 4-6.

With Buffalo and Miami above them in the AFC East, the Patriots must win tonight if head coach Bill Belichick's proud record of 19 straight winning seasons and 11 consecutive play-off appearances is to continue.

But they face a tough task against an Arizona side to whom victory is equally important given their 6-4 record is currently only good enough for third place in the high-quality NFC West.

  8. Lions sack Quinn and Patriciapublished at 17:55 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

Head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn were both relieved of their duties with Detroit Lions on Saturday, just two days after the team slipped to 4-7 with a Thanksgiving 41-25 home defeat to Houston.

It means Kyle O'Brien, Mike Disner, Rob Lohman and Lance Newmark - Lions' front-office executives - will look after general manager duties until the end of the season.

"It was a hard decision because they are both terrific people and worked very hard and tirelessly for this organisation. It just clearly wasn't working," said owner Sheila Ford Hamp.

We thought we would be bringing you all the action from two huge AFC divisional clashes this evening.

But while the Tennessee Titans' trip to the Indianapolis Colts goes ahead as planned, the AFC North game between the 10-0 Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens has been delayed again.

Originally scheduled for Thanksgiving evening on Thursday, it was then pushed back to tonight due to positive coronavirus tests in the Ravens camp but has now been rearranged for Tuesday night.

The NFL is reportedly insisting the game must be played within this game week which is bad news for the 6-4 Ravens with quarterback Lamar Jackson among several star players said to be self-isolating.

They say revenge is a dish best served cold but the Tennessee Titans will be hoping that's not the case in the big AFC South encounter in Indianapolis tonight as the joint 7-3 divisional leaders square off.

It was only 16 days ago these sides met in Nashville when the Indianapolis Colts kept Tennessee scoreless in the second half to turn a 17-13 half-time deficit into an important and impressive 34-17 win.

But both teams go into tonight's clash buoyed by fantastic overtime victories last weekend.

Indianapolis came from behind for the second week running with a 34-31 statement win over the Green Bay Packers, having trailed 28-14 at the half while the Titans also overturned a deficit to win 30-24 in Baltimore.

  12. Welcomepublished at 17:44 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2020

Hello and welcome as the NFL season rolls into week 12.

There's plenty of great match-ups to get your teeth into, with the Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts as both sides look to improve their 7-3 record so far.

Later, Denver Broncos are set to face New Orleans Saints without a recognised quarterback after Jeff Driskel tested positive for coronavirus and Drew Lock, Brett Rypien and Blake Bortles were deemed close contacts - wide receiver Kendall Hinton could fill in.

No such problem for Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs, however, where there is the mouth-watering prospect of Tom Brady facing Patrick Mahomes.

    Should be a cracker...
