  1. touchdown

Touchdown - Packerspublished at 22:19 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

Pittsburgh Steelers 7-14 Green Bay Packers

It's just like old times at Lambeau as Aaron Rodgers fires a dart to Randall Cobb blazing over the middle of the field and the receiver hauls it in an dpicks up a head of steam before lowering his shoulder to barge into the end zone.

Cobb really enjoyed that one as he scores his first TD of his second spell as a Packer.

  2. Postpublished at 22:18 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

    Baltimore Ravens 7-7 Denver Broncos

Baltimore kicker Justin Tucker set an all-time NFL longest field goal with his 66-yard match-winner last week - but clearly 66 yards isn't enough for him.

  3. touchdown

Touchdown - Ravenspublished at 22:08 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

    Baltimore Ravens 7-7 Denver Broncos

Cracking reply from the Ravens to that Denver touchdown.

Big plays from Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews set them up nicely and Latavius Murray sprints in from around 12 yards to tie matters up.

  5. touchdown

Touchdown - Cardinalspublished at 22:03 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

Arizona Cardinals 21-10 Los Angeles Rams

Well, well, what's on the Cards here?

We can't call it a shock with the talent Arizona has at its disposal but most were expecting this to be nip and tuck all the way.

Rams running back Sony Michel coughs up the ball on a run to put the Cardinals in prime position.

Kyler Murray then produces a ridiculous run up the sideline - ridiculous for most quarterbacks, routine for him - and James Conner mops up with a couple of short runs for the TD.

  6. touchdown

Touchdown - Packerspublished at 22:02 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

Pittsburgh Steelers 7-7 Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers may be 37 but he's still got the wheels to run in a touchdown for the Packers - the Steelers have to respect his arm so much they back off just a little too far and he gets those veteran legs pumping to find the end zone and tie us up.

  7. touchdown

Touchdown - Broncospublished at 21:59 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

    Baltimore Ravens 0-7 Denver Broncos

Sorry, Denver and Baltimore fans, we've neglected you a little - but to be fair not a lot has happened in the first quarter and a bit at Mile High.

    Until now.

Teddy Bridgewater caps a tidy drive by finding Noah Fant free in the endzone and the unbeaten Broncos - who are going a bit under the radar this season - lead.

  9. touchdown

Touchdown - Cardinalspublished at 21:54 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

Arizona Cardinals 14-10 Los Angeles Rams

Right, that's the last of the early games out of the way with that Jets win - around an hour after we were expecting.

Now we can concentrate on the later kick-offs and this one is already shaping up to be a cracker.

These two unbeaten NFC West sides have swapped the lead several times already and it's Arizona currently on top after Kyler Murray bullets a pass to Maxx Williams in the endzone. Got to love that double xx in Maxx.

  10. Kicking problems for Ninerspublished at 21:52 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

Seattle Seahawks 0-7 San Francisco 49ers

Usual kicker Robbie Gould is out of this game with injury and so punter Mitch Wishnowsky is having to assume field goal kicking duties as well.

Not very successfully on his first try from 41 yards though as he pulls it left. It'll be a tough one for Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan to handle now.

    The Jets win!

Randy Bullock sends the game-tying 49-yard field goal wide left.

The Jets and Giants were both winless before tonight - and now both have won in overtime thrillers. Party time in New York (or New Jersey)!

  12. Postpublished at 21:48 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

Tennessee Titans 24-27 New York Jets

And now a delay of game penalty against Tennessee - unforgivable in this situation!

The third down results in nothing, so now it's a field goal to tie.

  13. Postpublished at 21:47 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

Tennessee Titans 24-27 New York Jets

30 seconds left in overtime in New Jersey.

Titans around the 30-yard line. 25-yard line now, but there's a flag down. Offside against the Jets. That's another five yards forward for Tennessee.

Field goal to tie, touchdown to win.

  14. touchdown

Touchdown - Steelerspublished at 21:44 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

Pittsburgh Steelers 7-0 Green Bay Packers

Pittsburgh strike first as Ben Roethlisberger floats a perfect rainbow for Diontae Johnson for a 45-yard touchdown.

Lovely way for Big Ben to bring up his 400th career touchdown pass.

  15. Postpublished at 21:43 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

Same again except this time it's third-and-11 - and Tannehill again finds a receiver, Chester Rogers.

Fourth-and-two now with a minute left...

Derrick Henry again gets the carry and just gets a first down after being almost cut in two by a tackle. Ouch.

  16. Postpublished at 21:43 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

Tennessee Titans 24-27 New York Jets

You have to feel for New York Jets followers.

A three-point lead in overtime, the Tennessee Titans were third-and-21, victory within reach for the Jets.

Then Titans QB Ryan Tannehill pulls off a 20-yard pass before Derrick Henry motors for a first down.

    Two-minute warning.

  18. touchdown

Touchdown - Ramspublished at 21:41 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

Arizona Cardinals 7-10 Los Angeles Rams

Nice drive from the Rams - and a nice play to cap it off.

Matthew Stafford fakes a hand-off so convincingly even I thought he'd passed the ball off.

That buys him some time to pick out Van Jefferson in the endzone and put the Rams back ahead.

  19. field goal

Field goal - Jetspublished at 21:37 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

Tennessee Titans 24-27 New York Jets

The Jets fail on third down as quarterback Zach Wilson keeps the ball but is tackled for a loss.

It's a routine field goal, which sails through, but will the Jets regret that? The Titans get the ball back with the chance to win it with a touchdown.

  20. Postpublished at 21:33 British Summer Time 3 October 2021

Tennessee Titans 24-24 New York Jets

    The Jets are sooooo close.

Tevin Coleman rushes down the sideline but is adjudged out of bounds around the one-yard line as he reaches out to the pylon.

A touchdown on the first drive of overtime wins it, remember.
