There was an audible gasp around the stadium as that Trevor Lawrence pass sailed through the air... then a huge roar as Marvin Jones plucked it out of the sky.

Lawrence watched it while laying flat on his back after a marginally late hit but shuns the outstretched hand of the culprit to celebrate with a team-mate. It's gonna take more than that to ruffle his feathers.

Trevor Lawrence loops one into the endzone and Marvin Jones Jr. out-leaps his cornerback to claim a much-needed touchdown for the 0-5 Jaguars.

There's 1:43 till the half and Trevor Lawrence comes back out with the ball on Miami's 49-yard line. I think even the neutrals have their fingers crossed the Jags can grab a confidence-boosting score before the break.

Those last two plays were agonising for the Jacksonville contingent. Most thought that first pass from Trevor Lawrence was complete, only to hear it had been knocked out of Laviska Shenault's hands. Great coverage by Jevon Holland.

Then the second, on third and 15, comes off Shenault's fingertips and hits the deck. The Jaguars needed him to hang on to one of them.

I like what Trevor Lawrence is doing, his receivers need to help him out - those drops were huge.

Lawrence makes time with his movement a couple of times but his receivers can't come up with the catch.

A free catch is dropped by Jags receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. under no pressure whatsoever.

    That needed to be held.

Jags choose to punt from fourth and 15 and a much better kick from Logan Cooke pins Miami back inside their own 10.

The Jags are't having sustained drives, they're not on the field long enough and they can't get into a rhythm.

As Osi knows the best defence is having less defence. You don't want the big guys out there on the field too long but the Jags defence has been out there a lot.
