    Osi Umenyiora
Two-time Super Bowl winner on BBC Two

We expected [Miami to do well this season].

Miami Dolphins are supposed to have an amazing defence.

The reason why they're struggling is because they've been defensively poor.

That's why they're in the predicament they're in right now.

  3. 'Lawrence will decide this game'published at 14:22 British Summer Time 17 October 2021

    Jason Bell
Former NFL cornerback for the Houston Texans on BBC Two

I love Trevor Lawrence. This guy could be one of the better QBs in this league for the next decade.

I want to see him put it on the line and take some risks.

His actions will decide this game.

  4. Give Lawrence timepublished at 14:21 British Summer Time 17 October 2021

Miami Dolphins v Jacksonville Jaguars (14:30 BST)

This could be an "I was there" moment for NFL fans today as Trevor Lawrence makes his first appearance in London.

He's not exactly ripping it up as yet but he's rated so highly, has already shown some of his skills and, let's face it, is playing on a team that need a lot of rebuilding.

If he gets even close to performing how many experts expect him to, he could have a glittering career - and our Osi Umenyiora and Jason Bell say all he needs is time...

  6. Miami missing crucial CBspublished at 14:17 British Summer Time 17 October 2021

Miami Dolphins v Jacksonville Jaguars (14:30 BST)

Quick look at the inactive lists and it looks like both Miami's starting cornerbacks - Byron Jones and Xavien Howard - are absent.

That'll be music to Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence's ears.

  7. How they standpublished at 14:15 British Summer Time 17 October 2021

Miami Dolphins v Jacksonville Jaguars (14:30 BST)

Big things were expected from the Dolphins at the start of the season.

They narrowly missed out on a spot in the play-offs last year after going 10-6.

But, after beating divisional rivals the New England Patriots 17-16 in week one this season, things have gone downhill.

They've since suffered heavy losses to the Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well as a painful overtime defeat to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Is today the day they get their season back on track?

If Miami's form is bad, spare a thought for Jacksonville fans.

After five games the Jaguars and the Detroit Lions are the only teams yet to win this season.

Incredibly their losing streak is the second-longest in the Super Bowl era. The Jags haven't won since their 2020 opener.

    That's 20 straight losses! Gulp.

The London games are for all the UK's gridiron fans, not just those of the teams taking part.

They've been showing off their colours across the capital all weekend, and for British teams as well as NFL. Shout out to the Knottingley Raiders!

(Not gonna lie, had to google Knottingley. It's in rugby league country, just off the M62 in West Yorkshire. Enjoy your day folks!)

This is the 30th regular-season game to be played in London since the opening international match at Wembley in 2007.

This is the Jacksonville Jaguars' eighth trip across the Atlantic having committed to playing in the English capital each year. So they're London's team, right?

Well, not exactly. According to a YouGov poll taken this summer,, external the Miami Dolphins are the most popular NFL team in the UK, and judging by the jerseys on show before today's game, they will be getting most of the support at Tottenham.

The first cheer of the day in N17 came as number one draft pick Trevor Lawrence made his way out of the tunnel to warm up.

Here is he stepping off the team coach earlier, looking focused on the job at hand. Is today the day that 'the best quarterback of his generation' gets the first win of his NFL career?

    Welcome back NFL fans!

It's game number 30 overall in London since the series began and it's the UK's adopted team the Jacksonville Jaguars hosting the Miami Dolphins at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Top pick Trevor Lawrence is the star of the show as the winless Jags try to finally get a 'W' on the board, but it won't be easy as Miami's star QB Tua Tagovailoa is back from injury today.

It may also turn out to feel more like an away game for Jacksonville as the Dolphins are one of the best supported NFL sides in the UK so at least it'll be 50-50 and something similar to a Super Bowl atmosphere!
