San Francisco 49ers 13-0 Dallas Cowboys

Jimmy Garoppolo then finds Brandon Aiyuk, who reaches out to claim another first down.

Elijah Mitchell then has two runs stuffed, before Deebo Samuel is stopped a yard short on third and three.

So the 49ers go for the kick after 12 plays on the drive, with Robbie Gould making no mistake from 40 yards.

Deebo Samuel takes a great catch on a quick slant and picks up 19 on a third and one. Garoppolo did well to hit him in stride considering how quick he is across the field.

Much better play for the Cowboys as they stuff the run on second and one, so we'll have a crucial third down for San Francisco when we return for the start of the second quarter.

Another penalty against Dallas, this time on the defence, gives the Niners a little helping hand - not that they've needed it so far.

And a worrying stat for Cowboys fans comes with how they've dealt with being behind this season.

Huge play for CeeDee Lamb who takes a 32-yard catch from Dak Prescott, but guess what? It's coming back for another flag...

Connor Williams is flagged for holding for league-worst 11th time this season and the result is Dallas eventually having to punt.

Ironically the Cowboys have shot themselves in the foot with a flag on the return, which was a nice one by Tony Pollard and Dak Prescott has to start on his own nine yard line.

We've been saying all weekend now that you have to watch those penalties in the play-offs. Neither of these teams are especially good at that though so we'll see plenty of flags today.

San Francisco 49ers 10-0 Dallas Cowboys

Making the most of a bad job from San Francisco, and they'll be happy with three there as Robbie Gould nails his kick from 53 yards out - his previous longest this season was from 52.

Gould is also now a perfect 16 from 16 on field goals in the play-offs during his career - that's what they call 'clutch'.

The Niners get tricky again as Garoppolo throws a lateral in the backfield when he's swarmed by Dallas defenders, but they get nowhere and in fact lose 11 yards on the play!

That's followed by a delay of game penalty as the noise goes up a notch and they're left with a third and 21!

Huge third down conversion from Jimmy Garoppolo as the Niners QB fires a dart to the outside for Jauan Jennings who hauls in a great catch to move the sticks.

Jennings had a massive game against the Rams last week and he's started well again.

San Francisco 49ers 7-0 Dallas Cowboys

A really worrying sight for Dallas fans as rookie linebacker Micah Parsons hobbles off the field after taking a hit to the head.

Parsons was huge during the season and he'll be a massive miss if he can't return.

Dak Prescott gets sacked and of course it's Nick Bosa in there causing trouble, costing Dallas 10 yards and forcing them to punt it away.

This is some start by the 49ers, who have come flying out of the traps and - we must say - there's more than a few fans from San Francisco inside this incredible stadium.

Four straight plays have resulted in first downs for the 49ers and the last one from Deebo Samuel on a screen gets 15 yards and San Francisco are just four yards from the end zone.

The game is under way at Jerry World with the 49ers having the ball first - and already we've seen Deebo Samuel have a run from the backfield.

He's got some wheels!

If the Niners are to win tonight they'll have to have a large dose of Deebo Samuel, who is a wide receiver but has been outstanding running the ball in the second half of the season.

He can hurt you in so many ways - he even threw a TD last week!

We talked about this on NFL This Week. San Francisco are going to be a dangerous team in the play-offs. We thought they would make it [into the play-offs] because of the way they can run the ball, how diverse it is, and the way they can get after you with their front four.

This is going to be a crazy match-up battle where [49ers coach] Kyle Shanahan is going to try to use the defensive speed and athleticism that Dallas has against them. Kyle Shanahan against [Cowboys' defensive coordinator] Dan Quinn, this is going to be an all-time match-up to see how these guys can scheme against each other.

This is going to be tough. San Francisco play a smashmouth brand of football and Kyle Shanahan is just a fantastic coach. We'll see the way they are going to scheme against Dallas.

The Cowboys have a fast, physical defence that's going to try to trick you, they're going to run a lot of misdirections and they're going to come and punch you in the mouth.

A lot of people are predicting this will be the upset of the weekend, that San Francisco are going to win this game. I'm not so sure about that but overall I think it's going to be a great game.
