We're back underway with perhaps the game defining drive for the Eagles - and already we've heard the words "flag on the play" which means they've cost themselves yards again...

ICYMI... it was -16C at kick-off for Buffalo's demolition of New England yesterday.

Many of the Bills Mafia had their tops off. As did journeyman quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Of course he did.

Wayne Ellis: Wasn’t expecting much from the Eagles here, but this one’s already over. Going to take a very good team to stop the Bucs making another Super Bowl. Can only see the Packers or possibly the Rams having a shot.

So there's still time for a Tampa Bay possession before the break.

But Tom Brady is sacked for the third time on third down, forcing the Bucs to punt. And the Eagles run one play before we reach the half.

The defending champions are firmly in charge in this one.

Hurts chucks a deep ball on third down and Quez Watkins goes up and gets it, not just earning a first down but putting the Eagles deep into Tampa Bay territory.

And just as it seems Philly have hope, it's snuffed out by Mike Edwards.

DeVonta Smith stalls on his route, forcing his man to trip, and although Hurts spots the man down, by the time his pass gets near Smith in the corner of the end zone, Edwards has scrambled across to make the pick. Great work by the safety.

Jalen Hurts finds Dallas Goedert again but an offensive holding penalty wipes out that gain. We're now at the two-minute warning.

Some respite for Philly. Tom Brady is sacked on third down, forcing the Bucs to go three and out.

The Eagles have it back on their own 39-yard line, with 2:23 to the half.

Ah... Dallas Goedert drops this one though, and the Eagles again have to gamble on fourth down.

Carlton Davis helps shut down wide receiver Jalen Reagor but then takes his helmet off, which could be a penalty and hand Philly another first down.

Alas, it's gone down as a dead-ball foul so the Eagles turn it over on downs.

Tom Brady is back on the field at the Bucs' 22-yard line.

Dallas Goedert is a big target and Jalen Hurts finds his tight end down the middle for a 16-yard gain before Hurts is just short of first down on the run.

The Eagles run it on fourth and four - they've got to start taking chances - and Hurts hits Goedert to move the sticks.

Philadelphia Eagles 0-17 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

At least the Eagles manage to get a stop, of sorts.

Tom Brady is sacked on third down for a seven-yard loss so the Bucs settle for a 34-yard field goal from Ryan Succop.

Philly need to do something with the ball now though.

This is metronomic from the Bucs, mixing up quick passing plays with the run to get them churning up the yards again. They're already back in the red zone, sparked by an 18-yard reception by Mike Evans.

The Eagles start the second quarter with just 17 yards of offence so far. Can they get something going on this drive?

Nope. Jalen Hurts has a deep shot to Dallas Goedert that goes incomplete before hanging on to it for too long and getting trapped in the pocket, with Antoine Winfield making the sack to force Philly to punt.

Jason Kelce is playing at centre right now for the Eagles while tight end Travis Kelce will be playing later for the Kansas City Chiefs at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers (01:30 GMT). It's about a three-hour flight from Tampa. Can their Mom really make it to both games?!

That seemed to go on a bit...but the perfect start for Tom Brady, who hasn't really been out of second gear so far.

The Eagles haven't got that run game going and if they can't run it soon then they'll be too far behind.

Philadelphia Eagles 0-14 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This may not matter today, but the Bucs now have lost two Pro Bowlers from their offensive line to injury in Tristan Wirfs and now Ryan Jensen.

Jensen has made 81 straight regular season starts and Wirfs has played every snap of the last two years – losing two ever-presents on your O-Line is certainly a big deal.

Brady may get a bit more exposed if the back-ups can’t step up.

Brady's a few receivers down but with Gronk and now Mike Evans he has a tight end and receiver that any QB would love to have in their team.

They both have that X-Factor in their size and speed, plus great hands, that means they just can't be covered at times.

Tampa now have first and goal from just a couple of yards out.

Rob Gronkowski makes a couple of quick catches to move the sticks early on this drive. Brady loves his old mate Gronk and he's a player that he can throw to even when he's covered.

Jalen Hurts is nearly picked off as Joe Tryon-Shoyinka tips his short pass attempt and Jamel Dean almost takes the rebound on the dive.

Worrying for the Eagles as they couldn't run the ball at all on the Bucs and Hurts doesn't likely to be able to pick them apart with his arm.

Brady is furious as Tyler Johnson can't take in a catch on third and three as the Bucs now have to kick it away.

This is one of the negatives for Tampa Bay with several big receivers injured (Chris Godwin) or having walked out (Antonio Brown) and now Brady is working with back-ups.

He's won a Super Bowl with sets of largely average receivers before but he needs to find a connection with his new guys quickly here.
