He is on hand again on second down, this time making a catch past the first-down marker before being pushed out of bounds. The Jaguars are moving.

After a first down run by Travis Etienne, Doug Pederson opts to throw on second down. Trevor Lawrence finds Marvin Jones Jr, just past the first down marker but there are doubts over whether he has completed the catch.
Brandon Staley throws the challenge flag and is unsuccessful, the Bolts are down to their last timeout.

Trevor Lawrence is sacked on first down and as he hits the floor, Kyle van Noy stands on his left thumb, which draws blood.
He heads to the sideline briefly during a penalty announcement and wraps it up with some black tape. The penalty was pass interference and a first down for the Jags.

On third-and-three Justin Herbert is able to extend the play but cannot find anyone downfield. There is a holding penalty against the offence that Doug Pederson opts not to enforce.
The gamble pays off as Cameron Dicker - usually so reliable - misses the 40-yard field goal attempt and it is still a 10-point game.
Momentum is starting to swing in Jacksonville's favour.

The Chargers are responding to the Jacksonville surge very well on this drive. It has been over five minutes long and is extended on third-and-short as the blitz is picked up and Herbert finds Keenan Allen for the first down.

On third-and-nine the coverage for the Jaguars holds up. But the pass rush cannot get home and Herbert is able to step up through the pocket and use his legs to pick up a first down as they cross into the Jaguars half of the field.

Justin Herbert is swallowed up on second down but there is a personal foul for unnecessary roughness as Josh Allen shoves the Chargers quarterback to the floor after the whistle.
The call is met by boos from the home fans.

There's so much more urgency and energy about the Jags this half. Maybe the Chargers are playing it a bit soft on defence but the first downs are piling up.

It's a third-down stop for the Jags so Cameron Dicker has to put some extra juice into his kicking leg to boot over a 50-yarder and increase the lead back up to 16 points.
Still technically a two-score game but it's two TDs with two-point conversions on both needed just to tie this one up now.

That takes Everett to over the 100-yard mark for the game.

That's a super drive by Jacksonville - using 14 plays to go 89 yards in just over seven minutes to turn this rout into 'just' a two-score game.
They've done everything they needed to start this half, stopping the Chargers then scoring a TD - they've now got 14 unanswered points to drag themselves back into the contest.
The Jags are still big outsiders here, but you never know...
