  1. Narrow escapepublished at 03:22 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Los Angeles Chargers 27-7 Jacksonville Jaguars

Lawrence was chased miles back and sacked for a huge loss, but there's a flag on the play and luckily enough for the Jags it's against LA and that sack is wiped out. That would've been a killer.

Right, Trevor Lawrence, what have you got? Those four picks aren't all on him, but still throwing that many is just not good enough if he wants to be a success in this league.

A decent second half here would at least limit the reputational damage somewhat.

  3. Jags get a stoppublished at 03:11 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Los Angeles Chargers 27-7 Jacksonville Jaguars

Well, that's a stop at least, so no further damage done for Jacksonville, who force a Chargers punt. You get the impression LA will be a bit more conservative now while the Jags just have to go for broke and see what happens.

  5. Kick-offpublished at 03:06 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Los Angeles Chargers 27-7 Jacksonville Jaguars

The second half is under way and it's Chargers ball - a comeback seems unlikely but it'll have to start with the Jags getting a stop here.

It has been an absolute disaster for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Trevor Lawrence's pass was tipped and intercepted on the second play of the game and it looked like they were shell-shocked for most of that half.

For the Chargers it could not have gone any better who played perfect complimentary football. They looked after the ball on offence, moved it efficiently and really took advantage of the turnovers when they came via three Asante Samuel Jr interceptions and one more from Drue Tranquil.

That Jags touchdown to end the half, may give them something to hold on to. But it is a long way back against a Chargers team playing with confidence.

  7. touchdown

Los Angeles Chargers 27-7 Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville have their first score of the game and it is Evan Engram with the touchdown reception.

On first down Lawrence finds Zay Jones and he is taken out of bounds at the nine-yard line. One play later the Jaguars capitalise on their good field position as Lawrence stands tall in the pocket and finds Engram with a perfect pass in the middle of the end zone.

Signs of life from Doug Pederson's team.

A touchdown here could give them some momentum and on fourth-and-two Trevor Lawrence fires a pass to a wide-open Marvin Jones at the 14-yard line.

  9. Jaguars first downpublished at 02:44 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Los Angeles Chargers 27-0 Jacksonville Jaguars

A positive play for the Jaguars is greeted by cheers from the home fans as Etienne catches a swing pass with blockers in front of him and power ahead for a first down.

  10. Chargers recover their own fumblepublished at 02:43 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Los Angeles Chargers 27-0 Jacksonville Jaguars

Everything is bouncing the way of the Chargers at the moment. On third-and-inches they draw up an end around, but Michael Bandy and Justin Herbert are on different wavelengths.

The ball careens off the shoulder of Bandy and towards his own end zone, but he is aware of the danger and is able to fall on the ball before anyone in teal and white is able to get there.

The punt is away clean and the Jaguars will have the ball in Chargers territory in a two-minute drill.

  11. Postpublished at 02:37 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Los Angeles Chargers 27-0 Jacksonville Jaguars

Worth noting as this Jacksonville drive gets started with four minutes left in the half, that the Chargers will receive the second-half kick-off.

The Jaguars need something here if there is any hope for them you feel. But it is not to be yet again as Trevor Lawrence's nightmare first-half continues.

His throw is just behind a wide-open Christian Kirk on third-and-two and they are forced to punt the ball away again.

  12. field goal

Field goal - Chargerspublished at 02:33 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Los Angeles Chargers 27-0 Jacksonville Jaguars

There is a hold from the Jaguars defence as they restrict Austin Ekeler to just a yard on first down. There isn't much more room on second down either.

The Chargers did have a chance on third down as Keenan Allen was wide open in the back of the end zone but Justin Herbert is unable to get the right touch on the pass and zips it over Allen's head.

Out comes Cameron Dicker and his chip-shot field goal from 23 yards is good.

  13. That's ugly! - Jaguars muff puntpublished at 02:31 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Los Angeles Chargers 24-0 Jacksonville Jaguars

The Chargers send out JK Scott and the punt unit.

Disaster strikes again for the Jaguars as the ball hits Chris Claybrooks in the helmet as he runs downfield trying to block. Jamal Agnew is unable to dive on the loose ball and it is recovered by the Chargers for a first-and-goal.

  14. Turnover - Asante picks off Lawrence againpublished at 02:23 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Los Angeles Chargers 24-0 Jacksonville Jaguars

It is a Jacksonville Jaguars implosion at the moment. A second down pass is incomplete as the Jacksonville sideline and players ask for a pass interference call that they do not get.

On third-and-10 Lawrence looks to fire one over the middle but Asante Samuel reads it and is able to come up with the ball.

  15. Great play! - Agnew on the returnpublished at 02:20 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Los Angeles Chargers 24-0 Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars need a spark from anywhere they can and Jamal Agnew can be a spark plug. He catches the kick-off in his own end zone before returning it to the 50-yard line and is pushed out of bounds by Cameron Dicker.

  16. touchdown

Touchdown - Chargerspublished at 02:15 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Los Angeles Chargers 24-0 Jacksonville Jaguars

It is a blowout in Jacksonville currently as Gerald Everett gets in on the touchdown action.

Everett had left the game earlier in the drive after getting rolled up on at the line of scrimmage. But he returns to the action in the best possible way as Justin Herbert finds him short over the middle and the tight end does the rest. Finding a gap between two defenders to power into the end zone.

Cameron Dicker boots through the PAT and the Chargers extend their lead.

  17. First-and-goalpublished at 02:13 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Los Angeles Chargers 17-0 Jacksonville Jaguars

Justin Herbert is picking the Jaguars defence apart at the moment and he finds Joshua Palmer inside the 10-yard line for the first down.

  18. Postpublished at 02:12 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Perhaps not. On third and long the Jaguars show blitz but drop into a zone coverage. Keenan Allen finds the soft spot between two Jacksonville defenders and the Chargers are knocking on the door of the redzone again.

  19. Sack - Herbert goes doenpublished at 02:10 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

Los Angeles Chargers 17-0 Jacksonville Jaguars

Can the Jags use this to build on? Josh Allen beats Donald Parham off the edge and swings Justin Herbert down to make it second-and-16.

  20. Postpublished at 02:09 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

It all looks so easy for the Chargers. On third-and-five, Justin Herbert hits Donald Parham over the right side for a first down in Jaguars territory
