That field goal was the last action of what has been a real back-and-forth first half.
It looked like Seattle were in real trouble with their offence struggling and San Francisco running out to a 10-0 lead.
But Seattle have battled back and capitalised on some sloppy play from the 49ers to take a lead into the half and we are poised nicely for the second-half.

Jason Meyer's 56-yard field goal attempt has plenty of leg and clears the crossbar as the Seahawks will take a lead into the half.

On first down, Geno Smith gets away from pressure and runs for close to a first down. Jimmie Ward makes a terrible decision and hits Smith despite the quarterback sliding and has moved Seattle into field goal range.

Michael Jackson who was burned by Deebo Samuel for a first down earlier in the drive comes back with a play of his own. He doesn't bite on the double move and stays with Samuel to knock away what would have been a touchdown pass.
Robbie Gould trots out onto the field and knocks through a 46-yard field goal to give the 49ers the lead again.

D.K. Metcalf is a strong man and Charvarius Ward just found that out the hard way. On second-and-five he catches the ball behind the line of scrimmage and just runs over Ward for a first down.

Momentum has truly swung here. The San Fran offence is unable to get anything going and Purdy's third-down pass is off target on third-and-three and they are forced to punt the ball away.
A big drive here for both teams with 3:35 to go in the second quarter.

Seattle have taken the lead on a deep shot down the left-hand side caught by D.K. Metcalf. On second-and-short from their own 48 yard line, the Seahawks draw up a big play. Metcalf is able to run by Charvarius Ward down the sideline and makes the grab before running away from the cornerback.
The PAT is good from Jason Meyers as Seattle takes their first lead.
