  2. End of the first quarterpublished at 22:29 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

New York Giants 14-7 Minnesota Vikings

Dalvin Cook runs for a first down to end this first quarter, and what a fine first 15 minutes we've had with three TDs - we haven't even seen an incompletion yet with both QBs perfect so far.

Even Justin Jefferson completed his pass!

  4. touchdown

Touchdown - Giantspublished at 22:22 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

New York Giants 14-7 Minnesota Vikings

Giants lead! Saquon Barkley throws in a twisting, turning run before Jones lobs a strike to Isaiah Hodgins for a 15-yard score to go in front.

That's a brilliant drive with a little bit of everything thrown in - with Jones already on 100 yards passing and 22 yards rushing, while Barkley has 44 rushing yards along with his TD.

Can the Giants spring the upset here?

  5. Great play!published at 22:21 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

New York Giants 7-7 Minnesota Vikings

Huge gain for New York as Jones finds Slayton in acres of space for a catch and run that moves them 49 yards down the field. Just awful defensively from Minnesota with defenders falling over and nobody know who was meant to be going with Slayton.

  6. Trick play - No goodpublished at 22:16 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

New York Giants 7-7 Minnesota Vikings

Urgh! The Vikings dig into their box of tricks with Jefferson taking the hand-off before throwing back to Cousins, but the Giants are alive to it and poor old Kirk gets drilled by a swarming defence.

    Minnesota will kick it away.

  7. touchdown

Touchdown - Giantspublished at 22:10 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

New York Giants 7-7 Minnesota Vikings

All square! Saquon Barkley need to have a big game here to keep the Giants in it, and he shows just why with a sparkling 28-yard touchdown run.

Minnesota have been poor on defence all year long, and it looks like again they're going to need Cousins and his playmakers to win a shootout.

  8. Danny Dimespublished at 22:09 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

New York Giants 0-7 Minnesota Vikings

They don't call him Danny Dimes for nothing, as Jones throws a laser to Darius Slayton before following it up with a powerful run for a first down.

Jones has a lot of similar skills to Josh Allen but just hasn't been able to elevate himself to that level just yet.

  9. touchdown

Touchdown - Vikingspublished at 22:03 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

New York Giants 0-7 Minnesota Vikings

It's just a delay of one play though as Kirk Cousins drives forward on the QB sneak to dive over for the touchdown.

That's an opening drive of 12 plays for 75 yards and taking up over six-and-a-half minutes. Very strong opening statement from the hosts.

  10. Almost a TD for Vikingspublished at 22:02 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

New York Giants 0-0 Minnesota Vikings

Justin Jefferson with an outrageously sweet move to catch the ball on the run, turn, and dive while extending the ball out to just clip the pylon for the score.

BUT upon review it looks like his knee is down a half-yard short.

  11. Full-time - Bills advancepublished at 21:59 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

    Miami Dolphins 31-34 Buffalo Bills

What a wild game this one has been. It looked like at 17-0 that Buffalo would be able to coast to victory with Miami unable to make any inroads on offence.

But the Dolphins rallied hard in the first half and managed to go in down just three points at 20-17.

A defensive touchdown gave the Dolphins their first lead of the game before Josh Allen and the Bills offence took control of the third quarter.

Miami gave themselves a chance, and hung around. A one-yard run touchdown run by Jeff Wilson made it an uncomfortable last 10 minutes for the Bills.

Mike McDaniel's team had a chance to win the game but they were unable to capitalise as the Bills outlasted the Dolphins to set themselves up with a home Divisional Round play-off game.

  12. Vikings moving earlypublished at 21:57 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

New York Giants 0-0 Minnesota Vikings

We're under way in Minnesota. The Vikings have the ball and are driving it nicely to march into the red zone.

  13. Bills seal game on first downpublished at 21:56 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

    Miami Dolphins 31-34 Buffalo Bills

Miami cannot stop the clock and the Bills opt to run three times. On third down, it looks like the Dolphins have stopped Singletary just short.

It is ruled as a first down on the field and reviewed by the officials who decide there is not enough evidence to overrule their original decision and the Bills can kneel this one out.

  14. Final instructionspublished at 21:50 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

New York Giants v Minnesota Vikings (21:50 kick-off)

We're all about set to go in Minnesota as the Giants face the Vikings in the next wildcard game.

The two sides met on Christmas Eve when the Vikings needed a last-second 61-yard Greg Joseph field goal to win a thriller.

More of the same tonight please!

  15. Turnover on downspublished at 21:47 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

    Miami Dolphins 31-34 Buffalo Bills

    That could be the game.

Miami have problems getting the play into Skylar Thompson on fourth-and-inches. The delay of game penalty means they now have make up six yards.

Skylar Thompson buys time in the pocket, and rolls to his right, he attempts a pass to Mike Gesicki and Kaiir Elam gets a hand in to knock it away.

  16. Big catch Waddlepublished at 21:40 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

    Miami Dolphins 31-34 Buffalo Bills

It has been a tough game for Jaylen Waddle, but he finally comes up big for the Miami Dolphins offence.

On third-and-10 Skylar Thompson layers in a beautiful throw down the right sideline and Waddle comes up with it despite taking a big shot.

  17. Dolphins out of timeoutspublished at 21:37 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

    Miami Dolphins 31-34 Buffalo Bills

Yet again the play takes too long to get to Skylar Thompson and with the playclock winding down Miami have to burn their third and final timeout.

  19. Sack - Ball is loosepublished at 21:35 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

    Miami Dolphins 31-34 Buffalo Bills

The Dolphins made a big trade for Bradley Chubb in the regular season and he proves why he was worth the commitment on third down.

He breaks off the edge and chops Josh Allen's arm as he loads to throw. The ball is on the turf and recovered by the Bills who punt it away.

Miami ball with 4:24 to go.

  20. Shakir reels it inpublished at 21:32 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January 2023

    Miami Dolphins 31-34 Buffalo Bills

It is third-and-one inside their own 10 and in true Josh Allen style, the Bills take a shot down field.

Allen heaves it and it looks like it is going to be overthrown but Khalil Shakir uses every inch of his frame to make the ball stick to his fingertips at midfield.
