“It’s unfortunate that it happened. I know it’s a bang-bang play but you’ve got to try your best as a defender to protect a defenceless receiver."

I spoke to the NFL's chief medical officer, Dr Allen Sills, before today's game. That's exactly the type of 'tackle' the NFL is trying to eradicate from the game.

And the officials have backed that up with safety Kyle Hamilton being disqualified from the game. It's another boost for the Titans that the Ravens have just gifted to them.

  3. touchdown

    Baltimore Ravens 18-13 Tennessee Titans

The Titans take full advantage of the 15-yard penalty for that helmet-to-helmet tackle by the ejected Kyle Hamilton.

Derrick Henry goes over for his third touchdown of the season, from around 15 yards, reaching over wide out to complete the score.

    Game on at Tottenham.

Hamilton is ejected from the game for his role in that incident.

Chris Moore is taken off for concussion checks, no doubt.

Goodness me I hope Titans receiver Chris Moore is all right.

He suffers a sickening helmet-to-helmet hit from Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton in trying to pull in a deep throw.

  6. Jackson interceptedpublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

    Baltimore Ravens 18-6 Tennessee Titans

    Game changer?

Lamar Jackson tries to find Rashod Bateman out wide but overthrows it and it's a gift for Sean Murphy-Bunting.

Bateman does well to trip him up and prevent a pick-six but Tennessee have great field position on the Baltimore 25-yard line.

  7. Jet lag?published at 16:32 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

That three-and-out to start to the second half for the Titans added to them being equally listless in the whole of the first half.

Another one to add to the ‘jet lag list’ having only landed in London on Friday morning?

  8. Folk recordpublished at 16:30 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

    Baltimore Ravens 18-6 Tennessee Titans

That last kick was Nick Folk’s 73rd straight field goal made from 40 yards or closer and that ties an NFL record streak with….Ravens kicker Justin Tucker!

  9. Will Ravens rue penalty call?published at 16:29 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

How Baltimore might rue that roughing the passer penalty. It gave Tennessee just their second first down since kicking a field goal from their opening possession.

Derrick Henry then burst through for a 63-yard gain. The Titans' star running back had been restricted to just 18 yards from seven carries before that.

The Titans still had to settle for a field goal but they'll be glad to get the scoreboard ticking over again. Can they build on that?

  10. field goal

Field goal - Titanspublished at 16:28 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

    Baltimore Ravens 18-6 Tennessee Titans

That non-penalty means Tennessee have to settle for a field goal, which Nick Folk lands from close range.

The Titans really needed a touchdown there to get back into this but three points are better than none.

    Baltimore Ravens 18-3 Tennessee Titans

A flag is thrown for pass interference as Ryan Tannehill tries to find DeAndre Hopkins on third down.

But it's picked up as the officials rule the throw was uncatchable - and they're correct, it was way over the wide receiver's head.

The Tennessee Titans have been second best all game, but the Baltimore Ravens have made a habit of blowing leads recently.

Could they blow this one though? Derrick Henry's huge play may have given them hope...

But can they get back into this or will Baltimore bag the win from here? Thumbs up for Ravens, thumbs down for Titans.

  13. Great play!published at 16:25 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

    Baltimore Ravens 18-3 Tennessee Titans

Tennessee have come to the party.

More importantly, Derrick Henry has come to the party. The talismanic running back goes for 60-odd yards out of the wildcat formation and the Titans are in the redzone.

Marcus Williams with a great tackle to deny Henry the touchdown.

  14. Postpublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

    Baltimore Ravens 18-3 Tennessee Titans

More problems for the Titans as a penalty on that punt return backs them up inside their own 10-yard line.

Derrick Henry gains five on the first play of the drive but Ryan Tannehill just cannot find a man open on second down.

Big let-off for the Titans, though, as Michael Pierce is penalised for roughing the passer on third down as he gets to Tannehill a tad too late.

  15. Three-and-out for Ravenspublished at 16:18 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

    Baltimore Ravens 18-3 Tennessee Titans

The Titans' defense holds, aided by an offensive holding penalty that backed Baltimore up a bit.

It's a Ravens punt and Tennessee have the ball back with just under 12 minutes of the third quarter to go.

  16. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 16:16 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

    Baltimore Ravens 18-3 Tennessee Titans

A line judge gets absolutely crunched as Ravens running back Justice Hill is tackled and crashes right into him on the touchline.

He gets gingerly to his feet and assures everyone he's okay. Could have been nasty though.

  18. Ravens get to Tannehill againpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

    Baltimore Ravens 18-3 Tennessee Titans

    No change.

Ryan Tannehill is sacked and Tennessee have to punt on fourth down.

Copy, paste and repeat from the first half.

  19. Postpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

Tyjae Spears runs for a yard on the Titans' first play of the second half.

Not quite the spark they were after. But Ryan Tannehill finds Nick Westbrook-Ikhine with a smart pass on second down.

  20. Kick-offpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

Tennessee get the ball first in this second half and, boy, do they need to do something with it.
