One Baltimore player will be relishing today’s game perhaps more than any other – 23-year-old linebacker David Ojabo, a Nigeria-born Scot who cannot wait to play a UK game.

“Being back home, being around my family and friends, it's something that will be memorable," he told BBC World Service.

“I’m excited to be on the field with Lamar Jackson and see how far he can lead us, and you can't ignore Odell Beckham. He's a modern-day legend of the game."

Both teams are visiting London for only the second time and playing at Tottenham for a first time – and both are seeking their first wins over this side of the pond.

Baltimore fans will not have fond memories of their only previous visit, having been absolutely pumped 44-7 by the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley in 2017.

Tennessee fared better the following year but still lost as they were edged out 20-19 by the Los Angeles Chargers.

  3. 'Lamar Jackson's incredible, a player who’s a must-see'published at 14:24 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

Baltimore Ravens v Tennessee Titans (14:30 BST)

Former Titans running back Chris Johnson on Tennessee's form this season: "We’ve kind of been 50-50, a middle of the road type of team with a lot of potential. Derrick Henry’s just getting into his groove and is starting to do the things he usually does. He had a great game last week and if those guys continue to get better and if Ryan Tannehill is on the same page, I think we’ll be alright.

"Getting DeAndre Hopkins was a real big signing for us. I think he’s doing a good job in that he just got there. Hopefully he can come in there and help some of those younger receivers out so they can spread the ball around. He had a pretty big game last week, so hopefully that momentum can drive him through the rest of the season.

"Watch out for this dynamic offence. There’s a good running back, a good receiver and hopefully we can stretch the Ravens and run all over the field. And also, just being able to watch a guy like Lamar Jackson, no matter what team he’s on. He’s an incredible quarterback and playmaker, he’s a player who’s a must-see. I think the UK fans will enjoy that!"

  4. Up and down so far for Tennesseepublished at 14:22 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

Baltimore Ravens v Tennessee Titans (14:30 BST)

The Tennessee Titans will think they are due a win today ahead of next week’s bye if their season symmetry continues, having gone LWLWL thus far.

Two of their defeats have been narrow ones but their main problem has been a failure to get their offense firing with only seven touchdowns across their opening five games.

Premier running back Derrick Henry has notched two of those but is not having the kind of impact that has terrorised defenses in seasons past.

“The goal is to hopefully go into the bye week with a win and have some momentum,” Henry said this week.

  5. Redefining the positionpublished at 14:20 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

Super Bowl champion Ndamukong Suh agrees that former MVP Lamar Jackson helped start a new trend in NFL quarterbacks being great athletes and runners.

Suh tells Sky Sports: “There’s no question the Jalen Hurts and the Dak Prescotts of this world all these guys that have come behind him, he’s [Jackson] paved the way for them so that’s something he should take great pride in.”

  6. 'We should be 5-0' - Jacksonpublished at 14:18 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

Baltimore Ravens v Tennessee Titans (14:30 BST)

Baltimore Ravens’ decent start to the season has been marred only by two close defeats.

They lost in overtime to Indianapolis in Week 3 and then suffered a damaging defeat in Pittsburgh to their divisional rivals last weekend.

But they have brushed aside both Houston and Cleveland as well as claiming an impressive win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

“We should be 5-0, I believe,” quarterback Lamar Jackson said this week. “We just have to put up the points on the board (and) protect the ball. Every week, we’ve had a turnover, whether it’s me or somebody else.”

Three more games this year in London, all in successive weeks, with the Jaguars playing back-to-back weeks here - and winning!

It's all part of a plan by the NFL to see how fans over here would support a possible team being stationed this side of the Atlantic.

There are marquee wide receivers on both teams today with DeAndre Hopkins joining the Titans this season to lighten the load on workhorse star running-back Derrick Henry.

On the other side of the field, Baltimore brought in human highlight reel Odell Beckham Jr to give quarterback Lamar Jackson another focal point for his offense.

It’s fair to say neither has had quite the impact their teams would have liked, with not a single touchdown between them five weeks in.

Injury-prone Beckham, coming back from an ACL, has played three games, with seven receptions for just 79 yards while Hopkins has a healthier 356 yards from 26 catches but is also yet to score a TD. Will today be their day?

  10. Watch: Best of last weekpublished at 14:09 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

Miami speedsters De'Von Achane and Tyreek Hill star in NFL plays of the week, as does a big play from Stefon Diggs at Tottenham for the Buffalo Bills.

  11. How they stand - AFC Southpublished at 14:07 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

Baltimore Ravens v Tennessee Titans (14:30 BST)

In fairness, the AFC South is just as tight, one win separating all four teams.

Back-to-back wins in London have lifted the Jacksonville Jaguars top of the pile and the Tennessee Titans will be hoping that capital cheer can rub off on them.

To do so, they will need to improve one of the AFC’s lowest-scoring offenses, having registered just 17.6 points per game across their opening five matches.

The Jaguars won the division with a 9-8 record last season, while the Titans triumphed the previous two years.

  12. How they stand - AFC Northpublished at 14:04 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

Baltimore Ravens v Tennessee Titans (14:30 BST)

The AFC North is arguably the toughest NFL division to call after five weeks of the season.

All four teams have legitimate ambitions to finish top.

The Cincinnati Bengals – divisional champions the past two years, Super Bowl runners-up two years in 2021-22 and AFC Championship finalists last term – have got off to a surprisingly slow 2-3 start.

With the Pittsburgh Steelers on a bye week, the Ravens – whose last divisional title came in 2019 – know they will depose them from the summit with victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium today.

  13. Watch: Chiefs continue Denver dominancepublished at 14:02 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

The defending champs kicked off week six on Thursday Night Football by beating Denver - nothing new there though, that's now 16 wins in a row for KC against the Broncos!

  14. International games schedulepublished at 13:59 British Summer Time 15 October 2023

Baltimore Ravens v Tennessee Titans (14:30 BST)

Five regular-season games are being held this side of the Atlantic for the first time ever in an NFL campaign, with today's match the midway point.

After today, the three London matches will be in the books while the other two take place next month in Frankfurt.

The NFL has been coming to England for more than a decade now but debuted in Germany only last November when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Seattle Seahawks in Munich.
