Nicola: I was there last night and booed him. Somebody who tries to cheat their way to the top does not deserve praise when they win.
Michael Bennett-Lee: Booing a man for just doing what he has been allowed to do. All opinions aside leave Justin Gatlin alone let him enjoy the win.

That was impressive, that was unbelievable. Steven Gardiner the youngster never lets off the gas. He ran really hard. This is fantastic running and it is going to take its toll but they have a rest day before they're back on Tuesday.

If you go off too fast in the 400m it's like wading in treacle down the home straight. It's a terrible feeling, like you've hit the wall or been shot by a sniper.
Men's 400m semi-final
Wow. That was a brutal semi-final.
The Bahamas' Steven Gardiner pushed harder and harder and folds over the line after a storming winning run.
Jamaica's Nathon Allen takes second with Fred Kerley tying up a little in the last 50m.
He'll have to wait to see if he can get a fastest loser spot.
Great Britain's Dwayne Cowan started like a train, but ended like one of South-Eastern's finest.
Men's 400 semi-finals
There are plenty of people queuing up to coronate Wayde van Niekerk as athletics next crossover star.
Fred Kerley is not one of them.
The American is world number two this year and the 22-year-old is hoping to whip the rug from under the South African next big thing.
Great Britain's Dwayne Cowan is right up against it with a quality field.

R MC: Poor from crowd that. Booing a world champion. "Knowledgeable crowd"? No other former doper booed in 3 days.
Fiona Lapham: Such a heated debate in regards to Gatlin, I get both sides, but I'm with Michael Johnson on how situation has been handled.
Dean: Getting too obsessed with Justin Gatlin. Can we now move on? Plenty of other stuff going on at the Championships.

Holly Bradshaw is so focused. The crowd cheered her but there was no reaction after that jump. I've been her mentor for a year and a half and she used to doubt herself because of injuries and I think they were really playing on her mind.
But she's got the love of the sport back and since Rio we've seen a real difference. It wouldn't surprise me if she wins a medal here.

It is Elaine Thompson versus the rest in the final. The changing of the guard may be taking place. Jamaica are struggling to find other athletes in the sprint.
Women's pole vault final
No worries, no dramas from Britain's Holly Bradshaw as she makes a successful entrance into the pole vault final with a first-time clearance of 4.55m.
So she should. The new British outdoor record she set earlier this season was 4.81m.
Is this the biggest threat to Elaine Thompson in the 100m final?
The Ivory Coast's Marie Josee Ta Lou was the second fastest woman into the final.

Maggie: Elaine Thompson has got to be the most impressive female sprinter for a while. She's lovely in interviews too.
Lizzie Fluke: Elaine Thomson 10.84 and slowing down in 100m.
Goran: Olympic champion Elaine Thompson just nailed it in SF.

Much chat around Stratford last night and this morning that this temporary track in the London Stadium might not be a fast one, with no man in the 100m getting close to breaking 9.9 secs. These women's 100m semi-finals might be changing the narrative. 10.85 for Elaine Thompson, 10.91 for Rosangela Santos, 10.87 for Marie-Josee Ta Lou, 10.91 Tori Bowie...
The final is at 21:50 tonight.

Asha Philip will be a little bit disappointed with that run. She drove really well and kept herself in contention up to the 60m mark.
Women's 100m semi-final
American 100m champion Tori Bowie surges clear in the final 25m to take victory.
Murielle Ahoure of the Ivory Coast is in second.
Asha Philip is down in seventh with a time of 11.19.
But those semi-finals only firmed up Elaine Thompson's status of favourite.
Women's 100m semi-final
Blessing Okabare-Ighoteguonor- the reigning Commonwealth champion - World silver medallist Murielle Ahoure and Olympic silver medallist Tori Bowie are all in a punchy third semi-final.
Asha Philip was the quickest Briton in the heats with a season's best 11.14 seconds. That is still only good enough to be the seventh fastest on 2017 form though.

Elaine Thompson has such an easy sprinting rhythm that allows her to relax throughout the entire run. She will not look any different than that that in the final. That's her weapon.
