  1. Gatlin jeered by some as he gets goldpublished at 18:54 British Summer Time 6 August 2017

The three medallists from the men's 100m emerge together onto the stadium floor.

Usain Bolt gets the loudest cheers of any bronze medallist ever.

Christian Coleman, backbone ramrod straight, accepts silver.

And Justin Gatlin...gets a combination of jeers (early, loud) and applause (in response and sustained).

Bolt weighs in with clapping, letting people know where he stands on the debate.

Chris Lee: What has happened to British Sports Fans? To BOO someone who has Won a Fair race Digusting.

R1ch: Please do not have the presenters making excuses for Gatlin's drug cheating. It's nauseating to hear.

We're trying to find out the feeling in Stratford this evening. Justin Gatlin had a lot of boos on Saturday night - what will the atmosphere be like for the men's 100m medal ceremony at 18:50?

We're live as the crowds build outside the London Stadium asking fans the question - will they boo?

Next up on the podium though is a very different and more controversial character.

Justin Gatlin - twice banned for doping, but both quite complex cases - won the 100m last night at the ripe old age of 35.

He had been jeered throughout the rounds and celebrated with a finger across the lips.

It is going to be interesting to see what reception he gets as he picks up his gong alongside silver medallist Christian Coleman and third-placed Usain Bolt, who for once won't be the centre of attention.

The heptathlon may not have gone quite to plan for Britain's Katarina Johnson-Thompson, but she isn't done yet.

The 24-year-old has taken to Instagram before tonight's final event - the 800m.

"Up and down weekend! (as always with combined events!). 800m tonight at 20:40, going to go out there and finish off what I started 👍🏽🇬🇧 thanks for everyone's support."

  7. Ennis-Hill receives belated 2011 goldpublished at 18:40 British Summer Time 6 August 2017

Great scenes at the London Stadium as Jessica Ennis-Hill is handed the 2011 world gold medal that she was denied by Russian doper Tatyana Chernova.

Lord Coe dishes out the neckwear, God Save the Queen strikes up and there is definite prickling around the tear glands.

Coach Toni Minichello up in the stands is not far off blubbing either.

    Flag

BBC Sport's Sam Bryant at London Stadium: "The flags of all 202 nations represented at the IAAF World Championships are on display as you walk through Westfield shopping centre to the Olympic Park for London 2017.

"To give a sense of context, it takes a good few minutes to walk past them all (or 10 if it's particularly busy!)

"On a walk around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, you're guaranteed to see the colours of many different nations, be it in the form of flags, t-shirts, scarves, face paint, even the odd vuvuzela."

Fortunately day three has come to the party armed with plenty of intoxicating treats.

The headline act is the women's 100m final at 21:50 BST when Olympic champion Elaine Thompson will attempt to sooth some of the upset Jamaica felt last night by landing her fourth global gold medal.

But there is also the culmination of the heptathlon where Katarina Johnson-Thompson is attempting to drag herself back into a medal spot after a wretched high jump on the opening day. The 800m finale is at 20:40 BST.

Throw in Andrew Pozzi in the high hurdles and Holly Bradshaw in the pole vault and you have the potential for things to get very interesting, very quickly.
