    Colin Jackson
Two-time world 110m hurdles champion on BBC TV

The GB boys need to be as close to flawless as possible and if they do that they are not far off from gold. We've never won a gold medal in a world championships but have in an Olympics. They have to believe in themselves and then they can do it.

The crowd will lift them and let's keep our fingers crossed that the baton exchange is smooth.

It'll be difficult for Jamaica - they will need Usain Bolt at his best to do it.

Mo Farah talking to BBC Sport: "It's a very special night. It's been amazing but it's been a long journey. It didn't quite hit home until I took a few moments to myself where I realised this is it.

"The 10,000m took a lot more out of me than I had realised. They had a game plan and that was that one was going to sacrifice themselves, but I gave it my all.

"I didn't have a single thing left to give at the end. I got boxed in and couldn't get out.

"I remember in 2008, being so disappointed and not sure whether to carry on with the sport or not. I had to decide what it took to become a champion and that was to move to the other side of the world. Nothing was guaranteed but I took that chance.

"London is amazing. There is no place like home.

"I have a few more races on the track and then I will take a short break and then this chapter of my life is closed".

Hot on the heels of Mo Farah's farewell comes Usain Bolt's send-off as he competes for Jamaica, looking for a 12th world title to go with his eight Olympic golds.

The American team are always strong - and could help Justin Gatlin to a second gold to follow his 100m triumph. The GB team, including Adam Gemili, will look to deny both victory. The British women's team will attempt to repeat their Rio 2016 bronze medal.
