On competing in the 200m: "I think we've all got to dare to dream, simply because it's the championships. That's what everyone who enters an event is here for.

Britan's 100m silver medallist Dina Asher-Smith, speaking to BBC Sport: "I worked so hard for this, for this championship, and hopefully I'll go on to do bigger things. When I stood on the line I was thinking right, this is your time to go.

"A PB, a national record - that is more than you can ask for in a final. Shelly-Ann did a fantastic performance and that's why she's an absolute legend. I am happy!

"It's a long season and it's easy to get carried away in having the small achievements along the way. For me and my coach, it's always been stay focused, make sure your training is tailored towards this and keep one eye on the prize."

When there's a lot of pressure around you, to come here, against the best of all time, and to produce your best performance of all time, Dina should be very, very pleased with that.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has her toddler son Zyon on her shoulder and he's fairly chilled about things as his mum beams from ear to ear.

We are about to hear from Dina Asher-Smith. More on that in a second....

Four-time Olympic gold medallist athlete on BBC TV in Doha

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, she is the full package. She has done everything you could possibly do in the 100m, and she's done it time and time again. She's so difficult to beat because she is a true championship performer.

The sad thing for me is that it was in front of a pretty empty stadium. This must be the least amount of people I've ever seen at a major championship.

Watching the replays back, I think you could have raised the Titanic in the lane next to Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and conducted a Formula 1 race in the lane on her other side and she just wouldn't have known. So focused, she looked like she was all alone out there (to be fair, there weren't many in the crowd) and she simply powered forward. Brilliant, brilliant stuff.

She now has her son in her arms and he will join her on a lap of honour for the handful of people watching.

    Colin Jackson

I think Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is the best women's sprinter we've had. Outstanding in every element of her performance. She gets out of the blocks so well, aggressive but control.

At no stage does she panic. Every strike is accurate. She's the number one sprinter ever, of all time.

We said Dina would have to go faster than ever before. She did that, but she still couldn't catch Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce.

If you are going to come second to anybody, then an all-time great is who you want to be following. A superb run from Dina. There was nothing else she could do. Fraser-Pryce is just incredible.

The Jamaican looks so strong, her lead is held, it doesn't grow, it doesn't reduce. Dina Asher-Smith in pursuit, reaching, inching closer, closer, closer.... no. It's silver for Great Britain and gold for Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

We are being treated to a full light show in Doha, as we were last night for the men's final.

The track in darkness, each name of the finalists is projected onto the track in bright white lights. It looks absolutely fantastic and it's just a shame that only a handful of people are in to watch it. You get better crowds at a Welling Utd game.

Right then, flick the lights back on lads and let's see what Dina can do.

Technically, there is nothing in it. Shelly and Dina are so relaxed under pressure. It's going to be a fascinating race.

Dina has got to focus on her lane. The pressure - if anyone can absorb it, it's Dina. She is so composed. She's ready. She's primed. It's her time.
