George Groves, upon arriving at Wembley, tells Sky Sports Box Office: "I feel calm. This is a fantastic place to box, it was good to come down earlier and soak some of the atmosphere here but it will be nothing compared to how it will be in two hours."

Ex-world welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi: "It will be loud at Wembley, but I like to fight outdoors. You get the cool breeze, which is good when your body temperature gets hot. It can be a little nerve-wracking but once you get used to fighting in front of big crowds, it doesn't matter. When you are not used to it, you can think 'wow, what am I doing here?'"

So, when the two fighters arrived at Wembley, Carl Froch was roundly booed, while it was a little more mixed for George Groves. The roars were pretty deafening on both occasions, and the stadium is only around 40% full. What will it be like with 80,000 inside?

WBO international cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew: "If I am going to put my neck on the line then I think George is going give similar threats to Carl. Speed will be an issue early on, the first four rounds will be crucial but if Carl gets through them then I think he will wear George down.

"He might just be too durable for George and George will tire. If George comes into the fight and boxes on the move and quickly it could be his fight to run away on points. But he will want to fight, that fiery redhead will come out and that is when we will get the fight we want to see."

Olympic bronze medallist and middleweight boxer Anthony Ogogo: "My head has gone back and forth and back and forth. I genuinely don't know. George Groves's speed, you can't lose that, but Carl Froch's power and resilience might get him through to the end."

"George Groves appears on the big screen and while there are boos, he certainly gets more cheers than Carl Froch got earlier."

Wimbledon champion Andy Murray is a well-known boxing fan and he has been talking to BBC Radio 5 live about tonight's world title re-match at Wembley.

The Scot, who is a friend of Groves, is currently playing in the French Open in Paris, and he said: "We're obviously an hour ahead so I would expect I'll try to get to sleep, check the result in the morning and then watch the replay.

"I don't watch live. I watched the last fight live in Miami but I find it very difficult. I get very, very nervous watching if I know the person fighting, so I tend to not watch, get the result, hope no-one gets hurt and then watch the replay."

  12. Undercard: Jamie McDonnell reactionpublished at 19:44 British Summer Time 31 May 2014

It was a fantastically-northern post-fight interview with Doncaster man Jamie McDonnell following his world title victory: "It was brilliant. I felt at ease despite all his picking and poking. I thought I hit him with a few to slow him down but to his credit he kept coming.

"This means everything. This gets thing back on track. I am world champion again. I am a two-time world champion. Stick me in the ring with anyone and I'll dust them. Boom. Goodnight."

"The hairs on the back of my neck stand on end when I think about that sixth round. You could watch it and think it was something from a Rocky movie. It was unbelievable - I can't explain how incredible it was from ringside."

  16. Postpublished at 19:32 British Summer Time 31 May 2014

    Mike Costello
    BBC Radio 5 live commentator

"The sixth round was key last time. As they finished the round, they bumped shoulders on their way back to their stools and George Groves looked unsteady on his feet. He was being introduced to that type of attritional fight which Carl Froch knows all about."

We're certainly in for a treat if tonight's fight is even half as good as the first encounter. First, we had the challenger, George Groves, knocking down the world champion, Carl Froch, in the first round and going on to dominate the early stages.

Then, the pair started slugging it out toe to toe in the sixth round - three minutes of adrenaline-fuelled sporting action which would not have looked out of place if it had been choreographed for the big screen.
